Ocean is a fully licensed wedding venue that hosts civil ceremonies & partnerships indoor as well as outdoor on our roof top terrace with its unique location and exquisite views which is sure to create a magical and memorable day all couples wish for.
The wedding venue features stylish furnishings within a modern contemporary setting, making it a perfect blank canvas to tell your love story 's new beginning. Imagine the photo opportunities being so close to the beach and not to mention the glorious sunsets! We can provide a range of catering options, including a wedding breakfast with vegetarian options, and accommodate dietary needs. We also operate a fully licenced bar.
At Ocean we’re proud to offer extensive wedding planning services to make sure your wedding runs smoothly. Combinations of these features can be put together in a package of your choosing, with price lists available upon request. Your day will be arranged, delivered and handled by our dedicated team of professionals, who understand your specific wants, needs and requirements.

Jimi and his team made planning our special day seamless and from start to finish everything was perfect! The weather held out meaning the panoramic views where amazing all day, also enabling us to us the terraces to full potential. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much to ask for. We highly recommend for any event!We loved The Ocean Suite from the first moment we walked in. - ZZaina and Charles Cox29/01/2024The best day of our livesThe best day of our livesOur love story starts on a day I was early to catch my flight to go on a Summer cruise back in 2016, Charles friend changed their cruise dates last minute and so by chance we all ended up on the cruise ship Oceania. After a chance meeting on the dance floor in the cheesy là Club we sort each other out every day and night and by pure luck we ended up at one another’s dinner tables followed by many a night of drinking wine and watching the sun come up. When the cruise ended Charles went home to exmouth and I went home to Yorkshire, we formed a relationship long distance and once I saw Exmouth I knew I needed to return to the sea. So we bought a house, we had a little girl, he proposed and after a long lockdown he convinced me not to elope on a cruise so we decided to throw a big wedding bash. I’d been to the Ocean suite doing yoga & fell in love with the venue, Charles had one look and instantly agreed, picturesque views, soft play for the kids, great food, we didn’t need to look further. The weather was perfect 28 degrees on the day and all the photos turned out amazing! With seamless indoor and outdoor space for guests to have plenty of space to enjoy the unrestricted views of exmouth beach! All our guests said what a beautiful venue it was and had never been to a wedding venue like it. The large bar area and dance floor means you have plenty of room for an unforgettable party. We went for the BBQ catering with was just great, there was so much food and everyone loved the buffet set up! Everything was cooked fresh and was all delicious! The events team couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond to give us the perfect day and allowed us to have exactly what we wanted, they were super flexible and really really accommodating.Ocean’s top floor function suite is the perfect wedding venue with incredible views and great space for a party! We had a dj, flower wall, balloons, cake, games, and our own cocktail menu set up for our guests.
