Ocean

Ocean and the team there are simply fantastic. The locations is beautiful but it’s the service that really makes this place great, nothing was too much trouble and they really cared about making the day ours.

We had a fantastic party in The Deck on the second floor. We had a dj, flower wall, balloons, cake, games, and our own cocktail menu set up for our guests. Staff were very accommodating and reasonably priced.

We booked Ocean for a friend's hen do and it exceeded all expectations. They went absolutely above and beyond to make the event special, were so accommodating and professional. The cream teas were superb. The location and views fantastic, the staff helpful polite and friendly. It was just fantastic and with a huge group of about 35 people, this can't have been easy but they did a brilliant job and everything ran seamlessly.

We loved The Ocean Suite from the first moment we walked in. Jimi and his team made planning our special day seamless and from start to finish everything was perfect! The weather held out meaning the panoramic views where amazing all day, also enabling us to us the terraces to full potential. The food was excellent as was the service. Nothing was too much to ask for. We highly recommend for any event!

Despite the weather trying to scupper our wedding day, the events team at Ocean pulled out all the stops for being the wedding indoors with the perfect, albeit blowing a hoolie backdrop of Exmouth beach. We had the most amazing wedding day. Thank you Jimi for being fabulous.

My daughter had her wedding here last year and it was so good. Couldn’t fault the whole day and night. The terraces in the sunset really was the icing on the cake too.

Our love story starts on a day I was early to catch my flight to go on a Summer cruise back in 2016, Charles friend changed their cruise dates last minute and so by chance we all ended up on the cruise ship Oceania. After a chance meeting on the dance floor in the cheesy là Club we sort each other out every day and night and by pure luck we ended up at one another’s dinner tables followed by many a night of drinking wine and watching the sun come up. When the cruise ended Charles went home to exmouth and I went home to Yorkshire, we formed a relationship long distance and once I saw Exmouth I knew I needed to return to the sea. So we bought a house, we had a little girl, he proposed and after a long lockdown he convinced me not to elope on a cruise so we decided to throw a big wedding bash. I’d been to the Ocean suite doing yoga & fell in love with the venue, Charles had one look and instantly agreed, picturesque views, soft play for the kids, great food, we didn’t need to look further. The weather was perfect 28 degrees on the day and all the photos turned out amazing! Thank you to everyone at Ocean! xxx

Ocean’s top floor function suite is the perfect wedding venue with incredible views and great space for a party! With seamless indoor and outdoor space for guests to have plenty of space to enjoy the unrestricted views of exmouth beach! All our guests said what a beautiful venue it was and had never been to a wedding venue like it. The large bar area and dance floor means you have plenty of room for an unforgettable party. We went for the BBQ catering with was just great, there was so much food and everyone loved the buffet set up! Everything was cooked fresh and was all delicious! The events team couldn’t do enough for us and went above and beyond to give us the perfect day and allowed us to have exactly what we wanted, they were super flexible and really really accommodating.

Took my family to ocean for something to eat and try out the play area, I must say what a spectacular place was shocked and the amount of eateries and other facilities there are, the over all running of the place from food cleanliness and staff are exceptional went above and beyond to make are time there faultless !! We will definitely be going there on a regular bases, well done on the running of the place 👍

We recently had my daughters wedding here and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue we had a sit down meal which was enjoyable. The staff were amazing the team really worked well together and were very good in meeting our needs even though it was busy. We are very thankful to the manager and team who looked after us all day. We would definitely recommend this venue for a family celebration
