We had our wedding at the Norfolk arms in September, Kate and Ian were just amazing the whole day went off without any problems at all. Kate was always on the end of an email to reassure me. We had a taster meal which helped us to make our choice although the meal on the day was not quite what we had ordered but it was still very nice. We have just got back from our Wedding at The Norfolk Arms Hotel and wanted to say a huge thank you to Kate and her wonderful Team. Our wedding was postponed from last Christmas, so it feels a long time since we started arranging it all, but Kate and her Team have kept in touch the whole time, reassured us when we were concerned about restrictions and just been absolutely brilliant when it comes to flexibility and understanding at what is normally quite a stressful time, even without Covid. The day went off without any issues and the food was exceptional. All of our guests have commented on how lovely the hotel is, set within walking distance of Arundel Castle. The hotel staff took care of all the little details, which made our day flow smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. We would 100% recommend this venue for any event and look forward to booking our return visits to reminisce on our special day. Superb Wedding VenueSuperb Wedding Venue
We were visiting for a couple of nights for a wedding, happy to get parking at the hotel in Arundel as it’s not easy. £5 per night was thus a bargain. The wedding breakfast was excellent as was the bar service. The family room was a good price meaning we could host our son too. We chose to have our wedding reception at The Norfolk Arms Hotel last week and they didn’t disappoint. All of the hotel staff were amazing in helping us organise what was a magical day. Nothing was too much trouble for them and all of our guests absolutely loved the hotel, the food and the service. We can’t thank them enough for helping make our day extra special. We had hired the Singing Waiters as a surprise for our guests and the hotel were brilliant in the organisation of this. They gave them a room to get ready in, the uniform to wear and allowed them to get involved in the service, pouring drinks etc, helping them not to blow their cover! It was fantastic! 5 star guys thank you! Firstly the staff are amazing. The hotel was chosen after the high down hotel cancelled all their booked weddings and now we are thankful they did, as the reception was Amazing! Emma organised everything in preparation for the wedding and calmed their nerves and sorted every query quickly and effectively. The team was on hand through the whole event to ensure everything was going to plan and no issue and everyone was happy. Steve the duty manager was so friendly and led his team to deliver the wedding breakfast quickly, while it was hot and a very lovely wine with the meal. Unexpected issues were handled seamlessly by the staff. The food was delicious only small critism was knives need a good sharpen!! Minor point. The whole day was organised to perfection and flowed seamlessly. The tap bar is amazing, the knowledge of staff second to none and the gin is fabulous. Again outstanding friendly staff, can't wait to try some more gins soon. Our room 4 was huge, spotlessly clean and nespeesso machine in addition to kettle, reception more than happy to top up coffee milk etc at no issue. Bridal suite spotless huge and TV on the bathroom! It is not an identikit hotel chain, it is old and quirky and the wonky floors are the beauty and charm of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and a nice choice of hot food in addition to the continental selection. Yes bar prices are high but is a hotel not a pub. We had a fabulous wedding for our daughter and would recommend to everyone for value for money and excellent staff. Thank you again!Firstly the staff are amazing. Wonderful place for a winter wedding, the hotel was full of character and our room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and attentive nothing too much trouble for them. Wedding meal was delicious as was the breakfast we had next day.
