Nonsuch Mansion is completely exclusive. This not only means that yours will be the only wedding taking place at the spectacular mansion, but you will also enjoy the undivided attention of our expert wedding team. Take full advantage of your very own exclusive fantastic second floor apartment with 11 boutique bedrooms. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 120 people. Alternatively, we are happy to recommend one of our lovely local churches which are just a short distance away from the mansion . Food is our passion!!! We’re owned by Bovingdons Catering so your wedding breakfast is in the very safe hands of our Michelin trained chefs. Each dish is created using the finest seasonal ingredients to produce the most exquisite dishes. Nonsuch mansion can host 120 for a seated dinner and up to 200 people standing inside The Mansion. We're more than happy to accomodate larger numbers in a marquee on our formal lawns. The exclusive hire is from midday till midnight but we're more than happy to apply for a late licence if you'd like to carry on parting until the early hours. Of course we have plenty of onsite parking. At Nonsuch Mansion, we don’t believe in a “one size fits all” approach to your wedding, every element should be specifically tailored to you for a day that reflects you as a couple and fulfils all of your personal requirements. We recently had our wedding reception at Nonsuch Mansion, and it is honestly one of the best decisions we have made, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect venue. Not only is the venue itself gorgeous, nestled in a lovely park, the lay out of the rooms flows so well and the option to close off certain areas gives you so much control over how you want your day to look. Most importantly, the team at Nonsuch have been incredible from day one. We worked closely with Holly from the start who has been one of the kindest, most patient, flexible and accommodating people we have dealt with throughout the wedding planning process. The team truly are dedicated to helping you execute your perfect day, no matter how weird and wonderful it might be. Had it not been for the brilliant cooperation from Holly, Chloe, Vitalie and the Nonsuch team, our fusion wedding vision would never have been possible. The bridal suite was the perfect place for us to get ready and was able to accommodate quite a large group, with ‘the snug’ being downstairs which our groomsmen used to get ready. This meant our photographer could easily go between both rooms without bride and groom accidentally running into each other. The park grounds are also beautiful and if you are lucky enough to not have rain, there are some lovely photo spots. If you are considering Nonsuch as your venue, we couldn’t recommend it enough. A big thank you from all of us to Olivia and all your team for all the hard work you put in to make the day go soooo well. It went brilliantly in all aspects. Please pass our thanks onto everyone that was part of the team. I had so many comments from guests as to how professional they were in serving the food and helping people to drinks. The bar staff later on in the evening were great as well. The venue was perfect for what we wanted and having the accommodation upstairs made the start to the very end of the day perfect! We recently had our wedding at Nonsuch Mansion, from the initial enquiry to the wedding day itself it was a great experience. Michelle and her team could not have been more helpful, always happy to answer our questions and nothing was too much trouble. The venue and gardens are beautiful and it was great to have the rooms to stay in overnight too. Our family and friends loved the venue too and our suppliers (lots of which came recommended by Nonsuch) just made it the best day we could have wished for. We recently had our wedding at Nonsuch Mansion, from the initial enquiry to the wedding day itself it was a great experience. Michelle and her team could not have been more helpful, always happy to answer our questions and nothing was too much trouble. We honestly couldn’t fault the service and support we received from Nonsuch. Michelle was our main contract, she was incredibly responsive, very accommodating and helpful through out. On the day Michelle had set the venue up beautifully, was on hand if we needed her and made the day run incredibly smoothly. For a bride who loves organisation I didn’t worry or fret at all in the lead up or on the day! Thanks Michelle! We honestly couldn’t fault the service and support we received from Nonsuch. We can't thank or recommend Nonsuch Mansion enough. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, while we were thrilled with our flowers and lighting it would look fantastic with no added extras. The grounds are beautiful and it makes for fabulous photos. The team at Nonsuch were all great. We had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic and Nonsuch were so accommodating and made a stressful situation so much easier. In the run up to the day they were incredibly communicative responding to all my mad questions within a matter of hours and putting us at ease. There is an incredible amount of food to choose from and it all tastes incredible! The 'tasting evening' is so much fun. The day itself was an absolute dream, we had quite a few suppliers coming in and out but our wonderful co-ordinator (Michelle) managed it all and we simply breezed through our day with a glass of bubbles in hand. We wanted to drop a note to say a huge thank your for all your help pre-wedding and on Friday to make our day go so smoothly. I can’t quite believe it was around 19 months of planning with you, but you’ve been brilliant throughout, always responsive and helpful and so understanding when we were deciding whether to postpone. We loved every second of our wedding day, everyone’s feedback on the running of the day was brilliant including the waiting staff (Leroy in particular got heaps of praise! - please pass our thanks on). We honestly never expected the day to go as seamless as it did, but you and the rest of the team were an absolute dream and we can’t thank you enough. Not only is the venue stunning, elegant and timeless - the staff go over and above to ensure you have the perfect day. Even after having to move the wedding due to the pandemic, Michelle our wedding planner made the whole process totally seamless. Nothing was too much of an issue, she accommodated for many extra requests and ensured the day ran smoothly. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue than Nonsuch Mansion for our Autumn wedding. I couldn't possibly pick a favourite as they are all wonderful in their own way. We have hosted beautiful intimate weddings where you can feel nothing but complete love in the mansion to glamorous elaborate parties which could compete with the best. The mansion is so versatile all couples have the chance to use their imagination and create their own day their way.

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always follow your heart and be true to yourselves to ensure your wedding day is 100% a reflection of the two of you and everything you had hoped for.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

With so many ledges around the mansion couples love to fill these up with framed photos of themselves and their loved ones making this really feel like your own house for the day.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

There's no way we could pick just one spot for photographs! The mansion is beautiful inside and out and the gardens are so varied and just perfect all year round for photos.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

We have had a few but nothing takes away the shine from our couples.

What’s your favourite canapé?

This is a tough one as the canapes are incredible but would have to say as a personal favourite the Crisp cone of five spiced duck, hoisin and wasabi

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

For me nothing beats cones of battered cod and chips with tartare sauce.

What is your venue's most unique feature?

There are so many incredible features but for us it's the feeling of complete exclusivity with stunning gardens and parkland to enjoy and as the sun sets, you feel as though you are partying in a Gatsby mansion with your loved ones and the stars twinkle above!
