Miskin Manor Country Hotel

Just had a lovely stay as wedding guests. Our two nights were a great treat in this gorgeous setting. Our only wish was for more ventilation in the room in the heatwave but not really a complaint! The superior room m had everything we needed in hand. It was a perfect venue and the staff all very friendly. Breakfast presented a good selection and the pool a welcome relaxation. The grounds are vast and beautifully kept, the gardeners even tidying on the wedding morning.

We had our wedding at Miskin Manor two weeks ago and it was brilliant from start to finish. Emily and Kimberley, the Wedding co ordinators, were very efficient and our day ran smoothly. The Ceremony and drinks reception were informal - just as we wanted it. The Wedding breakfast meal was delicious and the portion sizes were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the team and they were all very approachable. Everything about our day was just perfect. Many wedding guests commented on what a fabulous wedding it was and that they enjoyed every minute of being at the Manor. It took the couple a year to choose their venue and they certainly were not disappointed! Nothing was too much trouble and we took over the hotel pretty much for the weekend. The gardens were beautiful in the glorious sunshine (this is my second wedding I have been to here in May and both times had glorious sunshine, not sure if they have some special connection here). This was very much a "larger than life wedding" with a large number of guests arriving from Scotland. We had a running buffet on the Friday evening as guests arrived. We even had a ceilidh on the day and the dance floor was never empty. The staff were unintrusive but always there when needed. I think they even brought in extra staff to make sure everything went well with such a large party. A very big thanks for making the day so special and I cannot recommend the venue highly enough.

At our daughter's recent wedding nothing was too much trouble. Even more unusual requests were accommodated. Many thanks to all concerned for making such a wonderful day, cannot recommend highly enough. The lawns were superb in the sunshine.

We would like to thank you for the wonderful day we had to celebrate Rhiannon and James' wedding. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Your help and support during the build up to the day was calm and unforgettable. On the day, the service we received was out of this world. When I walked into the Terrace Room it took my breath away. You had followed Rhiannon's plans to the letter and everywhere looked amazing. The food, wine and effortless service was second to none. We all had the most wonderful and memorable day at Miskin. A day we will never forget.

I just wanted to thank you both for making Saturday so wonderful for Vikki and Mike. If I had known how delightfully organised you would be I would have had fewer restless nights. The smooth running of the day was down to you being so lovely and calm.

Although the footfall wasn't huge, we had a very successful time as those visiting were almost entirely client of your who'd booked your venue and were looking for suppliers - just what we want. We've never taken so many booking on the day at any wedding fayre ever as we did last Sunday with you, so from our perspective, it was very successfully. The food was great! It has been improving constantly wedding fayre after wedding fayre.

We got married at the beautiful Manor on Saturday 11th November! It was faultless! The staff were so efficient and all of our guests expressed how impressed they were! The food was delicious also! As soon as we arrived at Miskin Manor, we knew it was the venue we wanted for our wedding. The ground and building are spectacularly beautiful - all year round. The coordinators could not have done more for us, making our day run smoothly leaving my new husband and I to enjoy our wedding without any stress. The staff put each room together amazingly, making our day more beautiful than we could have imagines. The food was AMAZING, absolutely delicious, with good sixed portions. We could not have dreamt for a more perfect day. Special thanks to Emily and Kimberley who are amazing at what they do. We felt completely confident in their ability to decorate and manage our wedding from start to finish.

Where do I start, thank you so much for everything! Got married here on Saturday and everything was perfect from start to finish. Our wedding party literally took over and the whole hotel all weekend and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests were absolutely amazed on how lovely this venue is. A special thanks must go to the housekeeping who will forget the bride running round the morning of the wedding.... they were great and the rooms were all spotless. Extra thank you to Emily and Kimberley.... ladies you were so in control all weekend and anyone will tell you I am hard to please and you excelled all my expectations..... so thank you again.
