- SSamantha and Carl17/08/2019The Perfect Day!The Perfect Day!Our Wedding Day was everything that we wanted- and more! Everything ran smoothly and any little blips were dealt with and I had no idea until the next day. Lisa & Jess - We met a few co-ordinators/planners along the way so thank you for pulling everything together in the final weeks. John - thank you for making sure that every move was seamless! All the guests loved having you there (even Les and especially Bethany) and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Your speech with Bethany was so moving - thank you it was a very special touch! Simon & Ben - thank you for EVERYTHING! The day was just perfect! It was amazing to be able to hand everything over to you and enjoy our day - even when it wasn’t in 'the file'. The Chef- Everyone enjoyed their meal (even the missing one!) and the pizza & chips went down a treat! I’ll have to take everyone’s word for the taste as I didn’t get a look in! All Staff- everyone we encountered during our stay from Reception, waiter/waitress, bar staff to breakfast staff were so polite and could not do enough for us. A special mention to Harry (I am praying that’s the right name, I consumed a lot of gin) - he served us when we came for our wedding breakfast trial & was so busy throughout the day of the wedding but his smile never faltered and he could not have been more helpful. DJ - again amazing, the dance floor was never empty & he pulled off my 'surprise' perfectly! Thank you, thank you, thank you, all sooooo much for each part you played in our special day. We had a fantastic time and I know everyone worked hard around us. Everything the team did paid off and the day went without a hitch. All the stressing was worth it. The ladies on reception on Saturday were particularly helpful while I was running round making sure everything was ready and they kept offering me coffee! - I think I must have looked tired... We'd appreciate it if this could be passed along to everyone involved and we'd certainly recommend the hotel for anyone planning a wedding. Everyone was very helpful and understanding, the food was exceptional and the transitions in the room from ceremony to wedding breakfast to evening were carried out to the letter of my daughters instructions. The master of ceremonies did a wonderful job of calming the bride in the run up to the ceremony and he was very efficient and helpful every step of the way.
