We were able to change one of the chairs for one with arms for a guest with mobility difficulties and they were really on the ball with food allergies. The wedding day was a dream come true. Special thanks to Emiliana who organises weddings at the hotel; she was always responsive and went out of her way to help with all our requests. Everything was excellent including the rooms and the food. We would thoroughly recommend Alveston for weddings, they will go above and beyond to make your special day perfect!We had our wedding at Alveston Manor and it was the most wonderful day in a beautiful setting. The morning of the wedding they brought breakfast to our room lovely touch we didn’t feel rushed at all. All my bridesmaid and mother of the bride were escorted to my room to get ready. Every step of the day I was made to feel special. The room we married in looked amazing so beautifully decorated and everything where is said I wanted it. Food was amazing guests were very impressed. Couldn’t recommend the venue or Jen my wedding planner enough. We had our wedding on November 25th. To top it all off, our wedding planner was nothing short of amazing - due to the care and dedication she put into planning every detail alongside us! Long story short, having our wedding reception at Macdonald Alveston Manor was the best choice we could have ever made. Throughout the first lockdown the head office managed our wedding and had the details we’d discussed with Katie which made things so easy to pick up. Katie is a pleasure to work with. She’s prompt at replying and does all she can to fit our plans in. We can’t wait to finally have our reception at Alveston Manor in September! We’ve found Alveston manor to be incredibly flexible whilst we plan our wedding.
