Description
Our woodland wedding venue is nestled in the heart of Kentish countryside amongst an ancient woodland. Our venue has three spaces available for you to use and style according to your big day plans. We have ample, all weather parking that leads you to our glamping area. Then along our woodland pathway you reach our ceremony area available for blessings under the tree canopy. The path continues up to the reception clearing where you can eat, drink and celebrate amongst our 50ft Dutch pine trees. Our fairytale clearing includes our tree trunk sofa seating around our firepit, wishing well and tree swing.
Your hire includes all three spaces as well as festoon lighting and event toilets. Our mission is for you to have the wedding day of your dreams and we will support you with this in any way we can. To ensure our couples have their bespoke day we do not operate on a package system. We do not have a set list of suppliers you have to use, although we can point you in the right direction is you wish.

We had a lot of ideas to begin with, but they didn’t really start to come together until we found Longton Wood. As a blank canvas venue, we couldn’t recommend it more. On our very first visit we both instantly saw how a wedding could come together, and we both saw ways we could make it uniquely ours. Jen, the owner, couldn’t have been more accommodating. The sounds of tall pine trees swaying in the breeze, the crunch of leaves under your feet is literally a marriage made in heaven (excuse the pun) with a wedding story! With so many different spots to choose from to photograph, and the real sense of being in the middle of nowhere, when you're only a few miles from Maidstone, it's quite an incredible place! Jennifer is so easy to work with and really allowed us so much flexibility to turn this blank canvas into a really unique space just for us! The wood was so stunning and it was so lovely to have the cover of the marquee but also be outside. We were able to choose everything ourselves and have a wedding that was personal for us. Best thing - 3 day hire! It gave us plenty of time to set-up the day before, we had the full day to ourselves on the actual day and then we had a big family brunch the day after. It was perfect, highly recommend Longton Wood to any bride who is looking for something unique and amazing!We had our wedding at Longton Wood in September, it was absolutely the best day of our lives! We looked at a lot of different wedding venues including woodland venues and Longton Wood is the only venue we visited that was truly in the woods as well as being the most flexible and relaxed in regards to customisable options and allowing our dog to come to our wedding too! We were so happy to find somewhere that we could customise and make truly personal to us. We were able to choose our own suppliers including our marquee, which is great as a lot of venues have restrictions on who you can use. Many of our family and friends were sceptical about a woodland wedding but all of our guests were totally amazed by the experience overall and the sheer beauty of the venue and the gorgeous permanent details such as the swing and log tables. They worked really hard in the days before our wedding to make sure everything was ready for our guests, which is no easy task given the scale of the place. It's a new venue still finding it's feet, which we had to be mindful of during the planning process but it really is something special and we are sure it will flourish and become one of Kent's premier wedding venues.
