Description
Couples can choose one of two rooms for their ceremony: The Music Room, which overlooks the Victorian walled garden and enjoys spectacular views of the parkland, or the Main Hall with its "flying" staircase, down which the bride can make a breath-taking entrance.
Guests can be greeted in the Music Room, before dining in the impressive, panelled dining room and finally dancing in the Hall or Drawing Room. Up to 80 guests can comfortably accommodated for a seated meal. (For parties with more than 80 guests, additional capacity can be arranged by using a marquee connected to the house.)
Photographs are an important element of any wedding. Leighton's amazing setting guarantees beautiful prints. The 19th century walled garden, the rose lawn or even a view across the parkland from the gate are all stunning backdrops for wedding pictures. Inside, the sweeping staircase or magnificent reception rooms are available if the weather is unkind.
As well as ensuring the reception runs smoothly, we can also help brides-to-be and their families with menus, flowers, transport, photographs and even seating arrangements. The team at Leighton Hall have been welcoming and supporting for brides and their families for more than 30 years.

Even if you are not as lucky with the weather as we were the reception rooms are warm (open fires) and endlessly interesting and photogenic. The proprietor, Suzie, is super positive, flexible, helpful and genuine; she personally takes care of the planning and detail. The venue is stunning, inside and out. Their suggested caterer did a spectacular job in terms of both taste and presentation. Polite, friendly, helpful staff. Absolutely nothing but satisfaction from start to finish. You simply must go for this if you have any kind of private function to put on.Did my wedding here. It is such a special place for a wedding and we could not have luckier to have celebrated our wedding there. Lucy and Susie were kindness itself – they were so helpful both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and everything happened SO seamlessly. They arranged for us to meet fantastic suppliers and caterers and helped co-ordinate everything both in the lead-up to the wedding and on the day itself. They met with us the day before the wedding, supplied us with cups of tea and told us to relax – they had everything from that point onwards, and they did. The setting was beautiful; Lucy and Suzie amazingly warm and welcoming and extraordinarily generous with their fantastic home. It was all that we could have hoped for and more. Even the organisation was made completely painless as they have assembled a tremendous, capable and charming team of flower people (truly amazing), cars; caterers; hair dressers; photographers, videographers; taxis. Nothing was too much trouble and all done extremely efficiently and with great cheer. Their professionalism was superb but always utterly personal. All in all perfect. - GGary and Sian13/10/2020Amazing venue with brilliant staffAmazing venue with brilliant staffWe booked to have our wedding at the beautiful Leighton hall for June 2020. COVID put a stop to that. We rearranged for 10th October and 2 weeks before we were due to get married further restrictions were put in place. This put a stop to our reception where we planned to have a big garden party in our garden. We went up to Leighton Hall to talk things through with Lucy. She rescued the day by suggesting we have the marriage and reception there. She explained that we would have the place to ourselves and we were dubious as the place is stunning. She recommended new fields caterers to provide our food and a service and they were exceptional. The food was delicious and the table service for drinks could not be faulted they worked so hard. We also used David Millington as a photographer and again he was exceptional and so professional but made us both feel at ease. Lucy was always on the end of the phone to talk through issues and was extremely understanding in the difficult times. We had our wedding and yes our guests had to wear masks during the ceremony but afterwards at the reception it was a lot more relaxed. We were left to ourselves and had the run of the house just as promised and it was brilliant. I could not think of a better place to get married and the place is just beautiful. On first visiting I was sceptical that we could afford it due to its stunning setting but the family are extremely competitively priced and we managed to have our dream wedding there. If you are thinking of getting married please go and visit here and speak to Lucy and you will struggle not to fall in love with it. With Lucy and Mrs Reynolds you have superb, caring generous hosts who will help organise everything and leave you to your day stress free and to just enjoy it without any worries. Due to the restrictions we only had 15 at the wedding. We were disappointed in this as it was a big downsize however after having the wedding it turned out to be perfect. Very intimate could spend quality time with everyone who was there and venue hosted us perfectly.
