With its private enclosed courtyard, ceremonies, and drinks receptions at Leicester Guildhall, offer a secret city escape for couples and guests to enjoy.
The Mayor's Parlour room, with its 15th Century stained glass windows, original fireplace, and stunning oak panelled walls, offers an intimate ceremony with a capacity of up to 45 guests. Alternatively, the 14th century timber-framed Great Hall, where grand feasts were once held and Shakespeare’s players once performed on stage, can be used for larger ceremonies of up to 90 guests. With the enclosed outdoor courtyard space for after ceremony drinks, or the option of a cosy open fire in The Great Hall, our heritage venue is perfect all year round for your city wedding celebrations to be held.
Your ceremony can be held Monday to Friday at 11am or 3pm.
Alternatively, on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays your ceremony can be held at 11am 1pm and 3pm.
Evening ceremonies are also available on Saturdays at 5pm April-September only.
