The Gothic Bar, mezzanine floor restaurant and outdoor dining facilities make this a "must see" venue.

Le Gothique is situated within the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building at the northern end of Wandsworth Common. Approached by a dedicated access bridge (John Archer Way) 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car from Clapham Junction mainline services.

The food and service were exemplary and Andrew and Mark were prompt in answering any nervous bride queries I had. The venue has real character which our guests all commented on and it was so special to be able to get married in their courtyard. Everyone we spoke to had only good things to say about the venue, the food and all those helping on the day. they were very responsive and helpful in the planning stages - especially the tasting evening, making it easy for us throughout and for us to then feel relaxed on the day. We had a tremendous time and would heartily recommend Le Gothique to anyone planning an event or celebration. We had our wedding with 95 guests here - it was just lovely. Everyone we spoke to had only good things to say about the venue, the food and all those helping on the day. they were very responsive and helpful in the planning stages - especially the tasting evening, making it easy for us throughout and for us to then feel relaxed on the day. We had a tremendous time and would heartily recommend Le Gothique to anyone planning an event or celebration.

We had our family dinner there a few nights ago following our wedding ceremony on site in the garden and it was a wonderful evening. The wedding group was accommodated outside under giant parasols . The food was truly amazing. Service was excellent. The venue is spectacular, you can see that from the photos. But what you cannot see is the great service and advice from the family team that ensures success. No problem is too small no issue too big for them to deal with. Le Gothique really is that hidden gem you dream about. We can't begin to thank Le Gothique for their amazing hospitality. We had the best time and all our guests did too. They were extremely patient and helpful when planning the wedding, answering all our questions immediately and always trying to give us what we wanted (no matter how strange or different) which made the whole day personal and special for us. We were able to taste everything beforehand and there were no hidden added costs like a lot of places. The food was amazing on the day, such good quality and variety, many people mentioned how good it was. The staff were amazing throughout the day, polite, always helpful, seamless. They were all so subtle and patient, even when politely telling guests they had to go inside (as we warned them on the invitations!). They were understanding that we were busy on the day so didn't ask us too much if it wasn't necessary. They really did make the day for us and their experience was noticeable and flexibility much appreciated. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
The best weddings are always the ones with the best guests. People who want to get together with their friends and relatives and really enjoy the day with great food and drink and enjoy each others company.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Do not get bogged down by irrelevant detail. Get the basics right and the rest will follow. The Food and Drink are the most important. But most great weddings will be remembered long after for their post meal party atmosphere not over whether the chairs had expensive covers or the colour of the napkin rings.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Instead of boring place names for each guest. Ask them to RSVP with a photo of themselves at any age from babe to adult and use this picture as their place name. Great fun, especially if older photos of the guest are sent.

Le Gothique keeps a celebrity book of guests and their signatures over the past 30 years. Over 100 from Helen Mirren to Take That and Rolling Stones members through to Olympic Champions. The book can be privately viewed and is ever increasing in volume
