Description

  • Hire the majestic ancient barn and the large and beautiful gardens surrounding a medieval house for your wedding day.
  • The barn can seat from 30 or 40 to 175 -- it's a flexible space that can be zoned.
  • Option to set up a marquee for 200 overlooking the lake.
  • Licensed for outdoor and indoor ceremonies.
  • Access during the 2 days before to prepare.
  • Option to stay one or two nights in the honeymoon cottage
  • Very private setting.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Exclusive access to this stunning historic estate over 2 days while you set up with the help of our party planners.
  • They will help you decorate the ancient barn and surroundings exactly as you wish.
  • THE BARN has a dance-ready floor and great acoustics. Bright and airy in daytime with large glass doors that open out on both sides.
  • THE GARDENS are made up of separate areas, and there's enough space for a large marquee if you want to seat your guests with a view of the lake. There's lots of room for smaller tents, an outdoor bar, a food van, hog roast, garden games, photo booth -- all ideas encouraged!
  • The gardens are also beautiful on their own.
  • THE COTTAGE is very comfortable and very private -- no rush to leave -- you can stay as long as you like the day after your wedding party.

A BESPOKE WEDDING:

  • Everything is designed around you: decoration, lighting, caterer, table design, music, the order of your day and every last detail are all your choice.
  • Lots of help from our party planners, but you can also add your own touches.
  • Loads of B&Bs and cottages on the doorstep to accommodate your friends and family from over the water.
  • We give you lots of time -- 2 days -- to enjoy the preparation and build-up to a fantastic day. You won't feel rushed.
  • Your guests will be amazed at the beauty of the location.
  • 15% discount for everyone for the ferries
