Our Wedding Review – 25th October 2025 at Kilworth House Hotel
We can honestly say that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more—an unforgettable experience that will stay with us forever.
Our day began with a deeply meaningful ceremony at St Peter’s Church in Glenfield, where we exchanged our vows surrounded by love, history, and memory. Saying "I do" in the same place where the Groom’s parents are interred made the moment incredibly special and emotionally rich.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to the breathtaking Kilworth House Hotel—a venue that truly exceeded every expectation. Its stunning setting, timeless architecture, and the exceptional staff made us feel like we were stepping into a real-life fairytale. With 90 of our closest friends and family, the atmosphere was warm, joyful, and utterly magical.
Everything on the day felt seamless, thanks in part to our brilliant master of ceremonies, who guided the flow perfectly. Our guests were enchanted by the gentle notes of a talented harpist, and the four-course meal was a highlight in itself—delicious, beautifully presented, and enjoyed in the stunning Orangery.
The entertainment throughout was unforgettable. Our guests laughed with caricaturists, tested their luck at our evening casino, and were serenaded by an incredible wedding singer. And just when we thought the night couldn’t get more special, we lit up the sky with a pyrotechnic firework display set to Queen—a real showstopper that had us all in awe.
The extra touches—like our sweet table and ice cream parlour—gave the day a fun, nostalgic feel, and seeing guests of all ages smiling and indulging was priceless. At 12:30 am, the celebration took an unforgettable twist with a Hawaiian luau in the cellar bar, where the party continued until 4 am. Tropical shirts, cocktails, and pure joy—need we say more?
The morning after, we were touched to sit down with so many of our guests for a relaxed group breakfast, sharing stories, photos, and tired but happy smiles. And we can’t forget the elegant black tie dinner the night before the wedding with our bridal party and immediate family—a perfect, intimate start to an unforgettable weekend.
From start to finish, our wedding was everything we'd hoped for—elegant, heartfelt, fun, emotional, and filled with memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. We cannot recommend Kilworth House enough for helping us create the most perfect day.
