Kentwell Hall dates back to the 1500’s and despite its size is very relaxed, and is mixed with an individuality created by its current owners, that is not often seen these days in great historic venues.
Kentwell is fully licensed and offers a wonderful setting for your special day.
The Great Hall and Gallery, with many beautiful hanging tapestries can seat 120 guests for a ceremony. You can enjoy a drinks reception in the State Rooms or on the mazed courtyard, before strolling to the Cedar Lawn continue celebrations.
Dining is in the stunning Oak beamed “Overcroft” that can seat up to 160 guests and is fully licensed.
If you prefer a less formal day, Kentwell offers the Barnsword, with two traditional barns and grounds for camping. Alternatively a marquee can be erected in the grounds with views towards the house, moat and over gardens and parkland.
Our experienced team can assist and guide you on all aspects of budgeting, planning and catering for your day.
Kentwell Hall Accommodation: in the main house there are 2 four post double bedrooms. Hall Barn on the estate can sleep up to 14 guests and Lodge Cottage has two double rooms and can sleep up to 4 guests.

- A Paddocks Marquee Reception which is perfect for your main meal and party starting from £2000
- An Overcroft Reception - an indoor reception for up to 100 guests starting from £4000.
- A Wild Wedding - exclusive use of the Barnsward, including the Great Barn Bower for a ceremony and the under-cover Alehouse area from £4,500
Option to add a Marquee for larger wedding receptions and cultural weddings at an extra cost.

The Cedar Lawn was beautiful in the summer sunshine, providing the perfect setting for our informal blessing, and with plenty of space for our guests to mingle and catch up. The Overcroft, where we had our meal, created just the atmosphere we were hoping for, and the top end doubled-up as dancefloor where we danced away to our band's music. The support provided by Lucy was fantastic, both in the lead up and on the day. We weren't always sure what would be needed when, and Lucy was able to answer all our questions and gave us confidence that all would turn out well on the day.We were delighted with our wedding at Kentwell Hall. The venue is simply stunning, the organisation was spot on, and we received really good tips and advice from Judith, the owner, when thinking about organising our day. The food supplied by Kentwell was delicious and high quality, the waiting and bar staff were fabulous, and everything ran so smoothly on the day. All of our family and friends had the most wonderful day celebrating with us, and often talk fondly about our day. It really was the most special venue and we were extremely lucky to be able to hold our wedding at Kentwell. We got married at Kentwell in 2019, and it was the most amazing day ever.
