- BBrendan & Victoria10/05/2026Wow wow wow !Wow wow wow !Having both been married before, we wanted something different this time around. Somebody recommended getting married here and it was the best decision ever. We travelled down from the Midlands for a secret civil partnership, and from the moment we walked into the building, we knew we had made the right decision. The Rossetti room was even more beautiful than the photos. And Lawrence our registrar, was fantastic. When we walked out of the building onto the famous steps, we felt like celebrities. People stopped to take photos and motorists honked their horns we couldn’t have asked for more thank you for making our day so memorable. Having both been married before, we wanted something different this time around. Somebody recommended getting married here and it was the best decision ever. The registers were amazing and super friendly and really helped us with the nerves and butterflies we were feeling. We literally got married the other day on 8th April and had one of the sunniest days of this year! Which was perfectly timed for our big day. If I had the choice I would do it all again in Chelsea town hall, most beautiful venue in London and full of history! I had to bring forward my wedding ceremony in very short notice and Chelsea managed to do it all in just over a month, which I knew was a miracle but they made it happen. Beautiful happy day full of love and we got incredible pictures inside and outside the Rosetti room as well as outside the iconic entrance. We had a wonderful registry wedding in the Rosetti room which was an intimate affair, the whole process went smoothly and the whole location was stunning and iconic in the heart of Chelea. We had to do a legal ceremony before our larger interfaith wedding later this year. Chelsea Old Town Hall was the only registry office in London who had any availability for stat marriages within 6 months, and I'm so glad it worked out that way. Despite being a simple stat marriage, the registry team gave us all of the pomp and circumstance you'd expect in one of the larger, more formal rooms. We didn't hire a photographer for the occasion, and our officiant went so far as to take photos for us with our witnesses on the famous steps (and they came out really well!!). The team was personable, welcoming, and fantastic at respecting and sticking to our preferred script, vow style, and how we wanted to be announced at the end of the ceremony. Their attention to detail was impeccable. They made everything feel light and easy, took the time to explain the ceremony and each step, and brought such wonderful energy and humour. We really lucked out with this venue and Im so thankful we were able to secure a room at a few months notice. The location and venue is just beautiful . The room we were in was simple and stylish but what really made our ceremony so perfect was the celebrant Yvonne and registrar Orileke . They were both so calm and so kind to a nervous bride and groom. Yvonne's sincerity and humour when conducting our ceremony was so beautiful and really made our day so special. I feel so lucky that she was our celebrant as she made our wedding so much better that we could have dreamed! Everyone at the wedding commented to me on how lovely the ceremony was and how much joy they felt as the result of such a brilliantly organised ceremony. The confetti on the iconic steps with our family and friends was just the icing on the cake for such a brilliant afternoon! Wish we could come back and do the whole thing with you again!
