It is privately owned and only available on an exclusive basis. The menus options are all delicious and locally - sourced, and the owners work with each wedding couple to make every celebration a unique and personalised experience.

The house, the barn, the dressing room and the grounds are simply beautiful. The staff are second to none. We had a couple of self inflicted issues on the day, just little things like forgetting batteries for a candle and no sooner were the words out of my mouth the batteries were in the candle. An amazing wedding co-ordination team, nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff we spoke to. And the chef… wow! The last plate out of the kitchen was just as perfect as the first in both presentation and taste! Every single guest commented on how delicious it was. Amazing! Everything I’d dreamed of and more. From booking our wedding a year and a half in advance right through to the day of our wedding everything was seamless professional and fabulous. Nick made things especially easy for us. He’s a great guy, easy to get on with and knows exactly how to put your mind at rest about such a big day. We knew we were in safe hands with katie as her organisational skills are exceptional. H The venue itself can’t do enough to please you & anything the bride and groom would like can usually be accommodated. We opted for a bbq & all our guests raved about it, it was the perfect wedding breakfast for us & cooked to perfection. We had such a happy experience and would urge anyone else to book Horton Grange as their wedding venue - you will not be disappointed. The grounds are beautifully kept and each room is decorated tastefully. The barn is exquisite & the powder room for the bride & bridesmaids is very special. We really feel we have made friends with the staff as they will be always part of our wedding journey. Thank you to everyone who made the 12th of July so special for us we can’t thank you enough for all your help. It was the greatest day ever!! All the staff were attentive to our every need, so friendly and just awesome. We honestly felt at home at the venue, it was absolutely beautiful, so clean and tidy and food was amazing. The day went so smoothly without evening realising that the staff were doing so much in the back ground. All our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had been to and to top it off the weather was great. Thank you We got married at Horton Grange 31.5.24, we had the most amazing and magical day. All the staff were attentive to our every need, so friendly and just awesome. We honestly felt at home at the venue, it was absolutely beautiful, so clean and tidy and food was amazing. The day went so smoothly without evening realising that the staff were doing so much in the back ground. From first meeting, to the day itself, it was such a wonderful experience, everything ran smoothly and efficiently and our families felt really involved and looked after throughout. My husband and I can't fault any aspect of the whole experience. Communication was great, we enjoyed the menu tasting prior and attended numerous appointments to ensure the day was planned exact as we wished. The wedding day ran unbelievably smoothly, thanks to the whole team! The food was amazing, the staff were super helpful and attentive to us and our guests, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable and the grounds are magnificent!We can't thank the staff at Horton Grange enough for helping us to have the most magical wedding. We had to change the date of our wedding, and bring it forward 6 months due to my mums ill health, and the staff at Horton Grange, especially Nick, made this such an easy process for us and Katie, our wedding coordinator quickly sprung into action to make our day perfect. We could not fault the venue or the staff at all, our day was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, the venue gorgeous and the staff couldn’t do enough for us.Special shout out to Jackie!We had our wedding here 27.10.2023. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It's really hard to say what the best wedding is because without wanting to sound clichéd, every wedding is lovely and quite unique in its own way. Our most unusual wedding was the one where none of the guests knew they were coming to a wedding! The Master of Ceremonies made an announcement to the guests just 30 minutes before the ceremony started, whilst the Bride and Groom disappeared to their rooms to get ready. There were certainly a few gob smacked guests!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't leave everything until the last minute plan ahead to get the date you want for your special day.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One wedding couple paid extra to get all their wedding images on CD and then sent a copy in the thank you cards to each guest so all their guests had a memory of the special day.

Exclusive, Romantic, Relaxing, Photogenic, Perfect
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our Wedding Gazebo but there really are so many fantastic spots on the property.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Yes but they were no more important than any of our other couples. Every guest received VIP treatment at Horton Grange.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Smoked Salmon and Crème Fraîche Bellini.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Oh it has to be our infamous Midnight Cheeseboard!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
There are three things that make our venue unique; very friendly and approachable staff, flexibilty (we will always try to say yes before saying no), exclusivity (only one wedding per day, hotel is shut on that day to ALL other guests).
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We're not huge, the whole property is unique and makes for a fantastic wedding venue.
