Our Manor House dates back to 1770 and is bursting with quirky charm and character. You and your loved ones will take over the Manor and its 19 en-suite bedrooms, 4 kitchens and 4 reception rooms, from Friday to Sunday, giving you a whole weekend of celebrations, rather than just one day. It is so wonderful to be able to spend time with your family and friends surrounding your wedding day and you will create memories to last a lifetime.
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies at a number of locations around the grounds; choose from the stunning front lawn with views across the North Yorkshire countryside or our pretty courtyard with its Oak framed Lych Gate - the perfect place to meet your loved one to say "I do" in front of your family and friends.
The Russet Barn: Newly launched for Autumn 2022 is our Russet Ceremony Barn; the barn features a vaulted ceiling with incredible whalebone, oak framed arches.
The barn began life as home to newborn Spring lambs at Hornington’s farm, now stylishly converted to welcome the birth of new love stories, offering a characterful and unforgettable setting to wedding couples starting a lifetime of happiness together.
The Dining Barn: The dining barn is primed and designed for sophisticated rustic events. This intriguing space has been carefully crafted into a charming blank canvas where wedding couples can fuse their tastes with the building's character. Here, up to 150 seated guests can enjoy a wedding feast before breaking out for a lively reception of up to 200.
With a team of Wedding Coordinators who will be on hand from your first viewing until you leave us as newlyweds, and for every want and need in-between, Hornington Manor is the most magical place to be married in North Yorkshire!

It was especially lovely to be able to have the Manor for the whole weekend, it really did make our wedding extra special to be able to have that time with our friends and family. It is truly impossible to pick one - every wedding we host is so different and wonderful. Whether it's a Summer wedding on the front lawn of the Manor or a Winter wedding in the rustic wedding barn, each celebration is really full of sparkle and joy.

Don't panic! Everything always comes together in the end - your day will be perfect so just enjoy the planning process, and our team are always here on hand to help with anything you might need.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The new Mr & Mrs Haddock said during their thank you speech to the guests: 'There's two less fish in the sea'! As wedding favours the Bride and Groom gave out fish shaped white chocolate! How incredibly personalised and unique!

What’s your favourite canapé?
Bruschetta with home made pesto and mozarella! Or sticking to Yorkshire traditions and having a mini Yorkshire Pudding with Beef!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
It has to be wood fired pizzas! We have local pizza vans who set up in our courtyard to serve the guests their evening food, this is such a lovely addition to the wedding and definitely makes it memorable.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Our gorgeous Manor House which is your home-from-home all weekend. Our Farmhouse sleeps up to 44 guests, with the new addition of our Shepherds Huts allowing up to 60 guests to stay on site before and after the wedding!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our guest books - it is so heart warming to read of the amazing time our couples and their guests have with us.
