The perfect wedding venue!

We got married at Hoath House in April and honestly it was the best weekend of our lives!! Harry and the team were on hand to help us with whatever we needed and the whole wedding weekend ran faultlessly. Hoath House is the perfect venue if you want a super relaxed vibe and a day you can really make your own without limitations. I wish we could do it all over again!

We couldn’t have asked for a more unique, peaceful and picturesque setting.

We had a magical wedding weekend at Hoath House. We couldn’t have asked for a more unique, peaceful and picturesque setting to celebrate with our loved ones. From first contact Richard was amazingly accommodating. We can’t thank him enough for going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Rachel & Jack

It feels like a hidden gem in the Kent countryside, tucked away in a beautiful valley.

We held our wedding at Hoath House in September 2021. Originally we hoped to have our wedding in June 2020, but Covid restrictions put paid to that, and Sept was our 3rd date! Throughout the whole process Richard was really helpful, giving us useful information on current guidelines, money saving tips and helping us work through our plans with a calm manner that put us at our ease. Richard’s calm approach really helped both in the lead up to the wedding and on the day. We always found he was approachable and responsive with our many questions and also liaised with suppliers on our behalf, which was really valuable as it took a few things off our long ‘to do’ list. Hoath House itself was a wonderful place to get married. It feels like a hidden gem in the Kent countryside, tucked away in a beautiful valley. The house is amazing! Everyone who stayed thought the house was brilliant, they loved the history and the rooms that you keep finding! The children had a wonderful time playing hide and seek in the house and gardens! The gardens are beautiful and clearly a real labour of love over many years. The house and grounds provided such a lovely setting for our wedding photos. For me one of the best things about having our wedding at Hoath House was so many of our friends and family could stay before and after the wedding, it felt like it brought the wedding party that much closer to have that time together at the venue and so many of our guests commented on the warm and welcoming feel of the house. I hope to return again in the not too distant future, perhaps for an anniversary celebration!!

We had the most incredible time at Hoath House, all of our guests loved it, and we really didn't want to leave. You have such a special venu

Hi Richard, We hope you are keeping well and not too exhausted from all the weddings recently! We just wanted to say a huge thank you for everything throughout our wedding. From the start to the tons of phone calls, throughout the pandemic and leading up to our wedding. You were always so accommodating and helpful which made us feel so relaxed and assured, so we really appreciate it. We had the most incredible time at Hoath House, all of our guests loved it, and we really didn't want to leave. You have such a special venue there and we are so pleased that we found it. We're already planning our next stay at the house with all the family! We've now had our photos back - I have left a couple on a google review which you are welcome to use but I wanted to check if there were any images in particular you wanted and I can send you across the files for your use.And just to say thanks again, Hoath House really was the perfect venue for us and will forever be a really special place. Take care, Amy & Ian

Our wedding venue

This place is extremely beautiful and it had so many rooms !! We booked it for our wedding as we had family coming from outside the UK, so they all have a place to stay. I fell in love with the area and the patio area is so romantic. Due to the pandemic unfortunately we had to cancel the wedding because it was impossible for our families to come to UK. Richard has been nothing but helpful and understanding with the whole situation . I can't recommend this place enough, for everyone that is looking for a manor house. This is definitely the place

The most perfect of fairytale wedding venues

Hoath house is simply stunning, we recently went for my brothers wedding. The house is clean and incredibly well equipped, while not loosing its sense of charm and beautiful historic, traditional values. A large marque was available to us, as well as the swimming pool and tennis courts. The owner is so amenable, and always makes sure whatever you need is sorted. His gorgeous old retriever plods about with him and loves a fuss... this is just the most perfect wedding venue. Thank you Richard for such a beautiful house for my brothers big day.

Describe the best wedding that happened at Hoath House Kent?

The best wedding was the marriage of Matthew and Manuela. They were on a very restricted budget so they decided to marry inside and then transform the library into their reception space. Luckily for them the weather was kind so on the day of the wedding they decided to take the reception outside. Our caterers bought in and set up the top lawn as a wonderful dining space. But what made the day really special was that as the meal finished one of the children started a game of rounders from our selection of garden games. It turned into a full on Bride vs Groom, England vs Spain rounders international. I have a picture of the father of both Bride and Groom, puffing on large cigars, arms round shoulders, going to watch the game in full flow. It is a picture that tells a thousand words about what a wedding can be.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Have a plan but plans are like Goldilocks you can have too much or too little but what you need is somewhere in the middle.

Personal touches are what really make a wedding special. They reflect the couple. We try to accommodate as many as possible; from the bluegrass band to the peacock feather lined walls to the pictures of close relatives recently passed. But my favourite by far was a couple who happened to be called Adam and Eve using apples and jelly snakes as place card holders.
