Hidden Acres is a 300-acre wedding venue in the heart of Netherfield, Battle, East Sussex. Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers ancient woodlands, serene gardens, and stunning countryside views. We're 50 miles from South London and easily reachable from Hastings and Battle train stations.
We offer a truly unique experience. The entrance, a charming Grade II listed gatehouse lit with festoon lights, sets the perfect tone. The grand farmhouse, featuring multiple master suites, accommodating up to 14 guests—ideal for all your wedding preparations. Enjoy lawn games on the manicured gardens and sweeping countryside views for your ceremony. A brand-new panoramic marquee, fully equipped with all the wedding essentials, ensures a flawless reception, with dedicated coordinator support to oversee every detail. Best of all, you receive exclusive three-day access to the entire estate, allowing extra quality time with those loved ones staying onsite.
We like to keep things simple with two flat-rate fees: one for midweek and one for weekends. These fees remain consistent throughout the entire season! Our package includes all the essentials, such as farmhouse accommodation, three bell tents, camping area, luxury toilets, a marquee, lighting, tables, chairs, a dance floor, and a PA system.
You can enjoy corkage-free drinks until 5 pm, after which our fully licensed bar with friendly staff is available. A dedicated wedding coordinator will guide you from start to finish, and there’s field parking for up to 40 cars. To make your day even more special, the venue offers complimentary stylish props like signs, lanterns, lawn games, rugs, pillows, wheelbarrows, and milk churns to add a personal touch. It gives the perfect cosy and remote feeling whilst also being pretty close to the nearest town of Battle that has everything you need last minute. The views from the garden are so lovely, all woodland and a few cute sheep but not a single other house in sight. And then the house itself is really lovely, and perfect size for the main wedding party to get ready in and have a nice dinner the night before.Went to a wedding here in June, and wished id booked my own wedding to be there but alas!
