What a fantastic place!! My sister got married here 15 years ago and today I went back with some friends. Such a great place; dog friendly, free entry, lovely walks and a delicious tea rooms to top it off (the fruit scone with jam and cream was amazing!) . I will definitely be going back very soon ❤️ would highly recommend it.

As a wedding photographer there are few venues that make me smile more than when I have a wedding at Hellens Manor. The Manor, an old Tudor building, is full of places to create stunning portraits even if the weather is against you, but if your lucky and have a glorious day the gardens and grounds provide you with acres of space to create magnificent pictures. The spaces in which you can hold your ceremony provide both comfort and atmosphere. The staff are so thoughtful and helpful that they will seem like extra friendly hands to make your day run smoothly. There are hidden groves and clearings, flowered corners and ancient arches. All of this will provide you with brilliant places for pictures and wonderful memories from your wedding day.

Hellens was the perfect choice for our wedding reception! The beautiful historic house and barn created such a warm and magical atmosphere on our chilly February wedding day. Throughout the wedding preparations, the staff were friendly, professional and communicative, giving us freedom to use our own ideas, as well as lots of helpful advice and attention to detail. On the day, we could really relax, because we knew everything was in safe hands.

Thank you so much for everything! It couldn't have been better and you were all just wonderful. You managed to keep everything in the lovely laid-back vibe that we had wished for, yet still giving attention to every detail and making sure it ran without a single hitch.

Hellens is a very special place to us, and we were so happy to hold our wedding here. The house with its rich, cozy interiors, the rustic Haywain Barn and the beautiful gardens were all stunning, and suited our vision for a relaxed wedding perfectly. Having so many spaces with different atmospheres made the wedding a very enjoyable event for our guests too, and the helpful and caring staff helped to make the day extra special and easy to plan, even from 6000 miles away! We are looking forward to our next visit!

We have such lovely memories of our wedding day at Hellens. Unlike a lot of venues it has a great relaxed feel to it which was exactly what we wanted. We loved that we could make it unique to us, using our own suppliers (and getting our mums involved!) All our guests said what a beautiful venue it was, particularly all the space to explore outside. Thoroughly recommend!

We had such a beautiful wedding at Hellens, the venue was just perfect. Our ceremony was held in Hellens house itself which felt very special and unique. Guests then gathered for drinks in the impressive courtyard and then wandered over to the barn where our reception was held. Everything ran so smoothly and the friendly staff were brilliant, both on the day as well as in the run up. Hellens is great for a more relaxed feeling wedding. We loved that we could enjoy both the barn and the surrounding outside space and bar area, it seemed to work well all day and evening too. It was also great to be able to decorate the barn and bar area to suit our style. We are so happy we chose Hellens, our wedding really was exactly as we wanted it to be.

We just want to say a massive thank you for all your input in making our wedding day so special. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and we are so grateful for all your help both in the build-up and on the day itself
