Hellens is a beautiful historic manor house and the leading eco-friendly venue in Herefordshire. A totally unique and exclusive venue for a tailor-made wedding in an idyllic setting. It has beautiful gardens, acres of wildflower meadows, ancient woodland, apple orchards, a labyrinth and a dovecote. You can choose between two fabulous venues for civil ceremonies. Our oak-panelled Music Room in the Manor House is licensed for 60 guests, whereas there is plenty of room for up to 120 guests in the Great Barn. With its beams and vaulted ceiling, the Great Barn is just right for you to add your personal touch - so your wedding can be as individual as you are. What's more, our beautifully renovated Georgian Stables is ideal for your overnight stay. A Hellens wedding could include a toast of sparkling perry pressed from our own pears in our traditional stone mill, our own organic apple juice, and produce from our own kitchen garden. For many years we have been helping couples create the perfect bespoke wedding day. Each occasion is unique and created by you with the help, support and advice of our wedding coordinator. We provide the perfect venue and professional planning, all you need to bring is your imagination!

We have such a variety of activities at Hellens, being a historic house open to the public a venue for cultural and educational events too, as well as a much-loved family home. So we have just about 10 weddings each year and they are an absolute highlight for us. Everyone on the team gets involved, sometimes our donkeys too! We would love to welcome you here.

The price of £1000 is our starting price for ceremony only options, £4500 for the reception only, £6000 for ceremony and reception. These prices include exclusive hire of the venue including grounds and gardens, furniture, linen and glassware, bride's changing room, wedding coordinator, staff.

Such a great place; dog friendly, free entry, lovely walks and a delicious tea rooms to top it off (the fruit scone with jam and cream was amazing!) . The Manor, an old Tudor building, is full of places to create stunning portraits even if the weather is against you, but if your lucky and have a glorious day the gardens and grounds provide you with acres of space to create magnificent pictures. The spaces in which you can hold your ceremony provide both comfort and atmosphere. The staff are so thoughtful and helpful that they will seem like extra friendly hands to make your day run smoothly. There are hidden groves and clearings, flowered corners and ancient arches. All of this will provide you with brilliant places for pictures and wonderful memories from your wedding day. Everything ran so smoothly and the friendly staff were brilliant, both on the day as well as in the run up. Hellens is great for a more relaxed feeling wedding. We loved that we could enjoy both the barn and the surrounding outside space and bar area, it seemed to work well all day and evening too. It was also great to be able to decorate the barn and bar area to suit our style.
