Hayne Devon is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, giving you several choices for the wedding day. You can say your vows in the Threshing Barn, the magical Walled Garden, or atop the sunny terrace overlooking the wooded valley. Each of these event spaces boasts a unique character that will enhance the celebrations. From the wood-burning fire in the dining room to the fire pit outside on the terrace, every area is equipped for all stages of the big day. Couples can enjoy unlimited photo opportunities for the duration of their stay, enjoying the intimate and secluded nature of the grounds. Colourful displays of wildflowers and restored architecture give this venue its unique and most charming qualities.
SERVICES OFFERED
Weddings at Hayne Devon can include 48 hours of exclusive hire, allowing you to relax and experience a truly personal celebration. Coming from an arts/creative background we can give expert help in offering musical entertainment (various styles) as well as our Hayne Flower team offering in-house floristry services. We also offer commission-free supplier recommendations for additional needs. A wide range of accommodation is available to sleep up to 100 guests. For a mini-festival vibe guests can also bring their campervans, caravans or tents for the two-night stay.

I work in the wedding industry and have been to a lot of venues. I've never been anywhere so idyllic and unique as Hayne. As ethereal as this may sound; there is genuinely something rather magical about Hayne. Tim and Milla describe it on the website as "Enchanting" and I couldn't think of a better word to describe it.. I don't know where to start with this place...... I work in the wedding industry and have been to a lot of venues. I've never been anywhere so idyllic and unique as Hayne. As ethereal as this may sound; there is genuinely something rather magical about Hayne. Tim and Milla describe it on the website as "Enchanting" and I couldn't think of a better word to describe it..

The setting and buildings are breathtakingly beautiful and Tim and Milla's experience and professionalism really makes Hayne an exceptional venue. From the thoughtful creative touches Milla and her team put into the styling & flowers, fantastic music from Tim's band on the day really added that special cherry on the top. We were blown away and so were our guests!What a place! An absolutely magical venue. Milla made all the spaces really beautiful with lights and flowers, so it felt like a magical wonderland and was very memorable. We married in the garden with the house providing a picturesque backdrop. I would really recommend Hayne Devon to anyone wanting a special, highly personalised wedding, in a relaxed setting. Tim and Milla are wonderful, such great hosts and just want everything to be brilliant for every visitor. Tim's band is exceptional - totally worth it - they had everyone dancing and wanting more! Tim and Milla were really helpful with rescheduling during covid and brilliant all weekend. Everything went very smoothly and the venue was beautiful. We also had the Honest John band in the evening which everyone loved. We added extra glamping so most of our guests could stay on site which really added to the whole weekend. Thanks again Tim and Milla. We had the most wonderful weekend wedding at Hayne. Tim and Milla were really helpful with rescheduling during covid and brilliant all weekend. It is stunning in every way, with beautiful grounds and buildings, and Tim and Milla have a relaxed vibe but attention to detail to make sure everything is perfect for the guests. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The onsite accommodation is also very comfortable and fitting with the vibe of the venue. It was the best wedding we had ever been to!Hayne wedding venue was absolutely perfect for my daughter's wedding earlier this week! Nothing was too much trouble for Tim and Milla who continued to help us ensure everything went smoothly from our arrival on Monday until everyone left on Wednesday. The gardens where the ceremony took place were so lovely, the flowers arranged by Milla for all the bouquets and the tables were beautiful. This was a wonderful and romantic occasion and we agreed it was the best wedding we had ever been to! Hayne wedding venue was absolutely perfect for my daughter's wedding earlier this week! Nothing was too much trouble for Tim and Milla who continued to help us ensure everything went smoothly from our arrival on Monday until everyone left on Wednesday. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
All depends on the time of day and sunlight - in the walled garden, to the top paddock as the sun sets, on the lawn which is South facing; breath-taking views across an ancient valley which steps down to a bend in River Yeo.

What is your venue's most unique feature?
Sustainability - we grow wildflowers here for our in-house floristry; no flower miles. We are musicians so we can help with all things musical too. That's two major elements taken care of without looking any further!
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Renovating a wonderful Jacobean farmstead with new lease of life for generations to come and enjoy, keeping its character but set up ready for a fab party with state-of-the-art 21st century comforts!
