A duo licensed wedding venue, Happy Valley is a stunning wilderness retreat, located in North West Norfolk. Set within nine acres of woodland seating for up to 200, open glades & little lake with it's own bridged island which can seat up to 100, this piece of paradise speaks to free-spirited couples who are looking for something relaxed and unique. Guests have the freedom to roam its woodlands or cross over the wooden bridge to Willow Island. Surrounded by a pretty, little lake, it is the perfect location for an intimate ceremony. With two spacious barns for dining and dancing, weddings can take place in any weather and the panoramic views offer a stunning vista of nature at its best. Happy Valley can host up to 175 wedding guests but is also the perfect set-up for an intimate, micro wedding. This quirky venue offers luxury, onsite glamping accommodating for up to 28 guests and consists of a luxury woodland lodges, cosy wooden cabins, shepherd huts and beautiful bell tents. Happy Valley is fortunate to be able to offer hot tubs and fire pits so star gazing is an all-year-round occupation. Happy Valley has been adapted with bringing the outdoors in even when the weather is not playing ball. There's an indoor option for all eventualities with the outdoors vista still in view. When booking with Happy Valley you have great flexibility with numbers and a list of recommended suppliers can be provided, including catering, flowers and decoration etc. Happy Valley have their own collection of vintage, rustic wedding props and have also curated an exquisite collection of vintage wedding dresses. Weekend packages are Friday 10:30am - Sunday 1pm and midweek packages are Tuesday 1pm - Thursday 10am.

We are a small, family business, who believe in the magic of bringing people together and the endless possibilities created when friends and family are taken out of their normal day-to-day and introduced to a stunning haven of tranquillity. Prices vary depending on the time of year, the standard wedding package selected and your requirements. We tend to hire the venue for 3 days and 2 nights so you can really savour every aspect of your event. Included in the price is 3 luxury accommodations with private hot tub and the option for guests to hire more, 2 party barns, grounds and bridged island, woodland, 2 party barns, 2 bars. We offer ceremony only options, elopements, intimate weddings up to huge festival weddings.

Both the venue and the staff will always hold a very special place in our hearts. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Bad weather meant that we had to move our wedding indoors, but we needn't have worried. The 2 barns on-site are just as magical and provide so much opportunity, while the Dutch Barn still gives you incredibly pretty views of the lake. Happy Valley gives you the flexibility to bring in your own suppliers to truly make your wedding vision come to life. The lodges are equally stunning and have been built by the owners with such love. On top of this, there are so many small touches that they go above and beyond to provide. We especially loved making use of the hot tubs! Nestled in the woodland, you are fully immersed by nature. We really feel like we were treated as if we were extended family throughout the whole process. Katy and India's communication and customer service have been excellent. Their wider team clearly share this same passion. We truly felt the heart they all put in to make our day so special. Katy also helped us so much throughout the processes and even got some wonderful photos and videos that she shared with us. The beauty of the location speaks for itself, but its really the team of people that really made us feel special and cared for that I want to acknowledge. The happy memories will last us a lifetime. We truly believe that this is a magical place, you can feel the love that has been channelled into the site. From our first visit in November 2021, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The venue has everything you need and more for the perfect wedding! Our priorities were - a venue where our wedding party could stay on site, so we could spend as much time as possible with them, and a venue where we were surrounded by nature. Happy Valley gave us both of these in abundance. When you quietly walk around the site you can hear the trees gently creak as they sway in the wind, and it feels like they are offering blessings, it's pure wedding magic. Led by Katy, the staff are super kind and helpful, and communication is always clear and friendly. They have worked with many local suppliers and we really felt the sense of community that has been built here as a business. Marie at The Cattle Yard bar put together the perfect drinks package for us, complete with local wines & bespoke cocktails. All the bar staff were so lovely to all our guests and instantly understood the vibe of our day. Our coordinator Alex was super calm and friendly and was always on hand with encouragement and support. We noticed every single kind word and gesture from the Happy Valley staff and we will always be grateful. If we haven't made it clear enough already - this is the dream team you want on your wedding day. The venue has so many gorgeous spaces to chose from, both indoor and outdoor so you are covered whatever the weather. It looked like it might rain on our wedding day (it didn't in the end) but we can honestly say that wherever you have your ceremony on the Happy Valley site, there will be a beautiful backdrop. The accommodation is beautifully put together and it really felt like the best possible (luxury!) festival with our nearest and dearest. The time you are allowed on site is really generous, so we never felt rushed and we felt like we had plenty of time to settle in and then to clear up. Checking all our friends into their accommodation was so much fun! Whether we were having breakfast together in Keeper's Cabin or a post-disco hot tub at Toad Hall, the accommodation was a huge part of the magic of our wedding weekend spent at Happy Valley. The venue is stunning. The rustic wedding barn was exactly the vision I had for our autumnal wedding. There are so many to choose from! We loved the hand-painted leather jackets brides have worn, the carved pumpkins for a Halloween wedding, the floral head garlands in Spring...our favourite moment is always when the couples say "I do"

What is your venue's most unique feature?
We can't choose just one. We love the woodlands, our choice of 2 party barns, our bridged island surrounded by water, our luxury treehouse and the hot tubs of course - plus we're a short drive to the coast
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The accommodation, bar, barns and grounds, the relaxed nature of weddings and flexibility for our couples. We're proud that we've built this from the ground up and have invested our hearts and souls into this magical place.
