Description

Hale Park is a unique wedding venue in the South of England. Situated on an agricultural estate in the New Forest, it is a stately home that was built as a home but with the space and flexibility to allow you to mould and paint this blank canvas to create a unique day that is yours alone. With few restrictions, Hale Park can be your statement; your honouring of your union; your treat for your friends and a memory to last forever. The house is approached down the lime tree avenue which is three-quarters of a mile long (or 1.2 km). There are almost 100m2 of Drawing Rooms and more than 500m2 of gardens (big enough for a circus tent!) and included with these is car parking, power and water; bridal preparation rooms; a separate Gents and rather unique mixed Gents and Ladies’ toilets. 90 or so people can be seated in the church with room for overspill outside. 120 people can be seated in the licensed Drawing Rooms for a Civil Ceremony and 120 people can sit down to your wedding breakfast. In addition you can be married under the very impressive front portico or anywhere in the Gardens; the woodland glade introduced in 2022 is proving to be popular. Here at Hale Park, we are trying to reach a responsible level of low carbon use. We are in an environmental agricultural scheme called Higher Level Stewardship which is the top level of such schemes. It means we have Soil Association organic certification for the meadow pastures; six metre hedgerow boundaries around all fields; healthy woodlands with 11 Ancient Woodland indicator specie; water meadows that are grazed carefully and a section of river prized by fishermen. Also, plans are well advanced to make the switch from oil generated heating and hot water to water source energy and the solar PV system has been in place for many years now.

Message from the team

Name of Wedding Contact: Sloan
Sloan wants couples to know that he loves being the background to - arguably - the biggest day in that couple's lives. It is very exciting to have a party in one's garden that is so full of love and happiness and celebration. Working behind the scenes on the details of legal or church, through how the sun shines into the marquee, to eating and drinking and solving all the little logistical niggles along the way is very satisfying; as is receiving the thanks of the new Mr. & Mrs. as they depart!
