Gildings Barns

Well our day was absolutely perfect and beyond anything we could have dreamed or hoped for. Beth and Jo and the Registrar and Chris and the bar staff and everyone were wonderful. Thank you all so much for a magical day.

We had the best day ever for our wedding on 9 March 2024 and a huge thank you to you and your team for all your hard work in making the day what it was! We've received so many great compliments from our guests regarding your service, well done (a special thank you to Becky because she was absolutely amazing and relentless in providing the best service to all us and our guests!)

We loved Gildings Barns as soon as we stepped through the large barn doors. We instantly feel in love with the rustic charm of the barns and it really suited us as a couple. We were lucky enough to have an outdoor wedding in the beautiful garden space with garden games and wedding meal and partying in the evening in the main barn. All of our guests said how beautiful the venue was. There is also a lovely side barn to relax in which was particularly good for guests with children.

We had our wedding at Gildings Barns in June this year. It was amazing the venue was exactly what we wanted and it was a beautiful one at that. The team at Gildings Barns was also brilliant and questions we had, we just ask and always got a welcome friendly reply. Which is always great when you are trying to plan our special day.

As soon as we saw the barns we loved the look and feel of the space and the beautiful garden was a bonus. Alyson was brilliant with prompt responses building up to the day and worked so hard on the day to make everything perfect - we have had so many comments from guests on how smoothly the day went. Thank you so much to Gildings Barns, we absolutely loved our day and wish we could do it all over again!

A massive thank you to Gildings Barns for hosting our wedding!! The most idyllic venue and location. We've had the best day imaginable celebrating with friends and family. Alyson and her team were accommodating, communicative, and genuinely enthusiastic throughout the process. This massively reflected on us and our guests. Wow where do I start - we have just got married here on Saturday gone and we are still overwhelmed how amazing and perfect it was - we have been planning our wedding for 3 years and have been to every single wedding open day and will continue to moving forward as we love it here so so much. The 300 year history behind it built by hand out of fallen oak trees , the stunning way it looks and sits, we will always come back here and Gildings barns will always have a special place in our heart.

Yesterday I was a guest at Jason and Clare’s wedding at Gildings Barn and would like to say what a wonderful experience it was. The venue was perfect and so was everything else from the flowers and food and warm, friendly staff who were a joy. A massive thank you to all who work so hard to make such an occasion extra special.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue, absolutely everything about our day was perfect. The location, team, venue itself were all great and all our guests commented on what a great find it was. Highly recommended!
