Where do we start! Our wedding day was flawless from start to finish. Everyone at the Garfield works so hard to make sure the day runs smoothly. Louize – We can’t thank you enough for making sure everything that we had asked for happened on our day, The number of e-mails back and forward was always answered, and nothing was ever too much, your time and experience is so valuable to couples who are getting married. I don’t know how you do it keeping up with all the different couples and organising all the fine details I was glad to have that part over with, but you thrive with co-ordinating all the different parts of a wedding ceremony and reception to make it special and personal to the couple. Glen – Thank you for co-ordinating our whole day from making sure the ceremony went smoothly right up until the last song. You were always available to help. You went above and beyond on our day. The canapes were delicious and there were loads of trays, the drinks were flowing and you even helped one of the bridesmaids who managed to get a small stain on their dress. The meal was delicious all our guests thought they were treated like royalty and was such a lovely atmosphere too. Peter especially would like to thank you for being the coolest man in the hotel and you would just pop up randomly by his side asking if everything was ok, do you need anything, and then vanish just as quick and away to help someone else. Thank you to Junior for being there to make sure we were happy with the set up for the reception, and making sure all our guests that stayed over had enjoyed their stay before they left to go home. Lisa – Thank you so much for Friday night, making sure the room looked beautiful, and we could use our own playlist for during the meal, I think the kids enjoyed that a bit much! All the staff on the Friday night were attentive and everyone enjoyed their meal. Then Saturday you were there again to make sure everything looked beautiful, and we were happy. Also, on the Sunday just chatting away, I can tell how much you love working at the Garfield. The Bar staff on the Sunday were so kind mentioning about how great the wedding went and how much they loved the DJ (the dancefloor was never empty) Thank you to Oonagh and Angie for sorting out all our rooms and making sure Peters parents’ room was what we asked for as they struggle to walk very far, you took the time to listen and everyone loved their room. The wedding package that they offer is really good. The cake, the piper, all the little extras. Honestly, the amount of praise from all our guests is fantastic and it was the best day because of all your dedication and hard work.

I cannot recommend The Garfield enough! From our first meeting with Louize, to the morning after everything was flawless. The staff are amazing and everyone is so helpful, I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole day. The venue itself, including the bridal suite and honeymoon suite and immaculate! We didn't want to leave. I had two make up artists, hairdresser and 8 of us all in the bridal suite and we still had lots of room - perfect for bigger bridal parties! The packages available and the choices are amazing, we didn't even go anywhere else for a meeting as the options were not going to be matched. I cannot fault the vendors which are included, our flowers were beautiful and the cake was delicious - this definitely took off some of the stress having these included.

To louize and all the team who did an amazing job for Shannon Chelsea mark and Lisa who got me a shower cap from Asda to the wee girl who helped me get my dress of so thankyou for making mine and Stevie day so perfect and wonderful can't thankyous enough everything from start to finish was the best day of my life ❤️ xx

We just want to thank you and everyone involved in our special day. We all had great food and an amazing day spending time with friends and family having fun and making lots of memories. Everything was perfect on the day. We wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Jacqueline & Alan x

We had our fabulous day on 27.05.2023 and honestly couldn’t thank our suppliers anymore, they all went above and beyond and every single person complimented them beyond words. An absolute hidden gem of a venue! After having to move our venue with only 14 weeks to go, Garfield could not have done more for us in the lead-up and on the day. Louize, Mark, Shannon and Glen along with the rest of the team were fabulous, any request was not a problem and did everything with a smile on their face.

On behalf of me and my Husband Craig, we would like to thank the team who helped from start to finish from planning our wedding to the day. Chelsea and her team have done an amazing job. Would defo recommend Garfield if anyone is getting married in the future or even just for a meal the food was outstanding. Thank you again Mr and Mrs Greenshields

We had the best day from start to finish, the wait was 100% worth it. You and all the team are amazing and a real asset to the company. The day ran like clockwork, all the staff were excellent and the food was delicious.

As a wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to work there a few times. This is one of my favourite wedding venues in the UK. Beautiful and charming venue which gives a great opportunity for creating amazing couples portraits. It's a perfect wedding venue that I would recommend to any couple.
