Garfield House Hotel is a beautiful Wedding Venue in the heart of the town of Stepps, just outside of Glasgow.

From start to finish, we both had an amazing day, lots of love and laughter shared in the one room with our nearest and dearest! The lead up to the wedding was stress free and well planned with louize and the day its self was run like a well oiled machine. Absolutely recommend. Nothing was a problem from the friday night we stayed till the Suuday we checked out , our wedding went without a hitch from the ceremony to meal to first dance to the end . I can't recommend the Hotel enough , and all the staff from reception to bar staff, to the staff serving our meal also Glen was so informative of what to do regarding our music playist and Kerry who made sure our guests where all seated and knew what was happening throught our ceremony and drinks reception and meal and first dances ..can't thank you a enough ..Love Mr & Mrs Buchanan xx Well what can I say we had the best day ever at the fabulous Garfield House Hotel . Our wedding day was flawless from start to finish. Everyone at the Garfield works so hard to make sure the day runs smoothly. Louize – We can’t thank you enough for making sure everything that we had asked for happened on our day, The number of e-mails back and forward was always answered, and nothing was ever too much, your time and experience is so valuable to couples who are getting married. I don’t know how you do it keeping up with all the different couples and organising all the fine details I was glad to have that part over with, but you thrive with co-ordinating all the different parts of a wedding ceremony and reception to make it special and personal to the couple. Glen – Thank you for co-ordinating our whole day from making sure the ceremony went smoothly right up until the last song. You were always available to help. You went above and beyond on our day. The canapes were delicious and there were loads of trays, the drinks were flowing and you even helped one of the bridesmaids who managed to get a small stain on their dress. The meal was delicious all our guests thought they were treated like royalty and was such a lovely atmosphere too. Peter especially would like to thank you for being the coolest man in the hotel and you would just pop up randomly by his side asking if everything was ok, do you need anything, and then vanish just as quick and away to help someone else. Thank you to Junior for being there to make sure we were happy with the set up for the reception, and making sure all our guests that stayed over had enjoyed their stay before they left to go home. Lisa – Thank you so much for Friday night, making sure the room looked beautiful, and we could use our own playlist for during the meal, I think the kids enjoyed that a bit much! All the staff on the Friday night were attentive and everyone enjoyed their meal. Then Saturday you were there again to make sure everything looked beautiful, and we were happy. Also, on the Sunday just chatting away, I can tell how much you love working at the Garfield. The Bar staff on the Sunday were so kind mentioning about how great the wedding went and how much they loved the DJ (the dancefloor was never empty) Thank you to Oonagh and Angie for sorting out all our rooms and making sure Peters parents’ room was what we asked for as they struggle to walk very far, you took the time to listen and everyone loved their room. The wedding package that they offer is really good. The cake, the piper, all the little extras. The staff are amazing and everyone is so helpful, I didn't have to worry about a thing the whole day. The venue itself, including the bridal suite and honeymoon suite and immaculate! We didn't want to leave. I had two make up artists, hairdresser and 8 of us all in the bridal suite and we still had lots of room - perfect for bigger bridal parties! The packages available and the choices are amazing, we didn't even go anywhere else for a meeting as the options were not going to be matched. I cannot fault the vendors which are included, our flowers were beautiful and the cake was delicious - this definitely took off some of the stress having these included. An absolute hidden gem of a venue! After having to move our venue with only 14 weeks to go, Garfield could not have done more for us in the lead-up and on the day. Louize, Mark, Shannon and Glen along with the rest of the team were fabulous, any request was not a problem and did everything with a smile on their face. What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
We had a beautiful wedding recently where the Bride was Indian and the Groom was Scottish, together they organised a surprise performance for their guests and had Bagpipes and Bhangra. It was really emotional! Everyone LOVED it! Both types of music sounded incredible blended together.
