They are currently on their way to California for two weeks. They have asked me to tell you how thrilled they were with the wedding party at Forever Green, they describe it as the perfect celebration that utterly met with their vision for a laid back, relaxed and totally fun evening. They will be contacting you when they return. As parents, we agree wholeheartedly. You made the room look amazing, with the sweet stand, flowers, cheese cake, etc. Feedback from the guests was very complimentary. They very much enjoyed the delicious canapés, the hog roast totally hit the spot, and the chip butties were enjoyed by those who still had a hole to fill. I have recommended to Fairview Cabins where we stayed that they put your details on their list of local businesses. I will also give you an excellent online review. From Simon and myself - its a huge thank you, we’re so pleased we searched widely for the perfect venue for Kat and James. Please pass our compliments to your staff. We decided getting married was the most important thing so went ahead with the ceremony and kept the guest list extremely select (12 of us in total as we just couldn’t choose who from our first list of 100+, and will want to have a celebration with all guests in due course anyway). Throughout it all the team at Forever Green have been amazing coping with multiple changes of plans and last minute decisions! With the formalities out the way we had a fabulous, relaxed family meal and before we knew it, the cars were outside ready to take us home. Best day of my life and as it was so small my husband (eeek!) and I managed to spend a lot of time together which isn’t always the case at larger weddings. It was perfect, maybe not everything I’d ever wanted, but definitely an incredible day. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
All weddings are so different that it's really hard to pick just one. We've had small intimate weddings planned within just 12 weeks and large weddings with over 100 guests. No matter what the size, we all cry during the ceremony!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't forget the reason you've decided to get married; because you love each other. The day is yours and all decisions should be yours. The more complicated the more stress.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
So many but one I really liked was real lavender plants in pots as table centres, given to guests to take home and pop in their own gardens as a reminder of the special day

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Lots of points around the the site but the addition of a new terrace with steps is a great group photo opportunity
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Most recently we had DJ Ironik (worked with Elton John) playing.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Homemade mini Yorkshire puddings with beef and horseradish....ooh.....or maybe the smoked salmon spoons....no wait.....asparagus wrapped in Parma ham....
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
In the winter hot chocolate. In summer a sticky donut ladder!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
Nestled in the middle of the woodland
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Our fabulous team who work tirelessly to make each day so special. I know....sounds a bit sickly but it's true. You have to love what you do to be in this industry and as no two weddings are the same, each one brings a new challenge and dimension.
