Our venue is officially licensed for marriage ceremonies, allowing you to tie the knot in a variety of unique spaces. Choose from the vibrant Club for an industrial party atmosphere, the Shed or Back Room for a relaxed botanical vibe, or even our tranquil Garden.
All our packages include support from one of our experienced wedding managers who will guide you through the whole process to make your wedding planning stress-free!
With multiple dedicated private spaces available for your reception, we can accommodate weddings of all sizes, from intimate gatherings of 50 to grand celebrations for up to 500 guests.
Conveniently located just 5 minutes from Manchester Victoria and Shudehill, Fairfield Social Club is nestled in the Green Quarter, an area steeped in Manchester’s rich history. Here, you’ll find a charming mix of historic landmarks, lush greenery, old railway arches and industrial buildings, perfectly combining city accessibility with a characterful, green setting.

I’m Jules, the wedding manager here at Fairfield Social Club and absolutely LOVE helping my couples organise their quirky, unique and most importantly FUN weddings at our two venues!
I have over 10 years of experience running alternative weddings at GRUB & FSC and no two weddings have been the same.

We offer a range of options to suit all budgets and plans. We have three hireable indoor spaces - The Club (which has its own outdoor space), The Shed and The Back Room (which adjoins The Shed). We also have our large garden which adjoins the local park - Angel Meadows. The best space depends on your plans and capacity. Or you can hire the whole venue which gives our weddings private use of The Garden as well as exclusive use of all of the above spaces.
Our most-popular option is to hire the full venue, which includes The Garden, The Shed & Back Room and The Club. This is priced between £2500 and £6000.
For smaller weddings or those choosing to simply hire designated areas of the venue, hire prices start from as little as £800.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan ahead with your venue’s wedding manager to make sure everything is taken care of and you can simply relax, have fun with loved ones and enjoy the day!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
One of our weddings gave out personalised party bags during the speeches and inside was a personalised quest that they had set each guest - like an individual challenge/forfeit that they had to complete by the end of the night! The party bags contained all the props needed for everyone to complete their challenge. Guests had so much fun doing this, we saw people walking around with various fancy dress items on and we kept finding hilarious items around the venue. It was so unique and we’ve never seen anything like it since!

Definitely underneath the giant disco ball in The Club, or maybe under the twinkling lights in The Shed.

What is Fairfield Social Club most unique feature?
The whole place is pretty unique to be honest! But I’d have to say it’s our cosy, retro inspired comfy mezzanine area overlooking the dance floor in the Club.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
Probably the fact that our weddings are pretty much always FUN! If you want your guests to let their hair down and feel relaxed and welcome as soon as they walk through the door then we can definitely deliver! We're also an indie, family run business with a focus on sustainability and supporting fellow local businesses which we have done since the very beginning, so we're pretty proud of that too.
