Braulio and I just wanted to say an absolutely huge thank you to the whole team for our wonderful wedding day last week. We had the best time ever, and was everything and more we could have ever wanted. Every single person we came across was so friendly and lovely and nothing was too much during our stay as well.

Thank you to all you lovely ladies from the beginning which seems like a lifetime ago when we first met Jo in January 2023 I think it was now! From the moment we arrived at Horwood I knew it was the one, but the sales process was lovely and smooth and Jo was happy to answer all my questions from so early on. It really set the scene for us so thank you.
Planning has been super easy, again no question seemed too much for you Maisie. I know there’s been some weird ones, and some that involve having to ask other people but thank you for being so approachable. The whole wedding process has been so enjoyable and felt like you were able to make the whole experience feel very personal to us when I know you have lots of others couples to give all your attention to as well. The questions you asked during planning were great and thought provoking for some things we hadn’t considered before so thank you.
It was great to then go over it after the menu tasting too, and we got to meet Ellie as well! It was also lovely to see Ellie on the day too just before the ceremony!
Thank you Maisie as well for the room upgrade on the final night (we really needed it haha) and we were very glad to have not needed to pack and move on the Sunday!

The menu was incredible. The tasting was lovely and gave us a nice selection to try. But your ability to be flexible and make some amendments was truly appreciated. Everything we talked about in the tasting was addressed on the actual day (and trust me, we remembered what we wanted haha). It was everything and all of our guests loved the food! We got lots of comments on how great it was, and both of us ensured we cleared our plates. The evening buffet we sadly didn’t get much of a chance to eat, as it was practically polished off after we returned from some photos which is great (but of the leftover bits we had were fab.) Again, the flexibility for the chicken wings really made the day so personal to us and our guests loved it. Considering evening food often gets left, we say it was definitely a success of it being eaten!
We were running late for the breakfast (you’ll see below haha) and everything was still hot when it arrived.

FLAWLESS. I literally cannot even begin to explain how fabulous Silvia and her lovely team were. Nothing was too much and despite a few hiccups (when I say our, I mean my husband forgetting his speech in his room which was then in process of being moved to our suite for that night lol). Which delayed food service which we were slightly behind for anyway! But nothing was an issue and I know hot starters and late service don’t go together but thank you so much for being flexible. Silvia was so reassuring from the day before when we met her, and seeing her on Saturday morning really put me at ease and she was in full control.

Our venue decorator had a family emergency the morning of - Silvia kindly gave us some florals for the top table
Braulio’s aunt was taken ill later in the day and she just kept everything under the radar but ensured she was seen to swiftly. We are so grateful to have had Silvia, problem solving every minute of the day, whilst being so calm, collected and always with a smile on her face. We didn’t actually know anything of Braulio’s aunt until the following day either but know she taken care of so honestly, thank you!
Her team, of who I got names, Harry and Hassan were so friendly and fun and were so nice to all of our guests too. Please do thank them on our behalf :) the others I didn’t quite catch but all lovely!!
There was probably 101 other things Silvia was troubleshooting that we didn’t even know about of course.
Hotel/ bar staff
Absolutely everyone we came across was so polite, friendly, complimentary and just genuinely happy to help.
Lovely gentleman in Harry’s, whose name I can’t quite remember, but he said he lived on site was super friendly. Made delicious espresso martini’s haha, and even the day after, was just friendly and checking in on us the day after when we grabbed a bite to eat.
Braulio had misplaced a couple of things and again the team were quick to check with housekeeping etc when we requested.
All in all, it was just a great and memorable day. Our guests loved everything and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend HH.
Hopefully we’ll be back for our anniversary next year!
