Grand Villa Heights

We booked our wedding only 3 months ahead. The team at Grand Villa Heights and The Apartment Group, especially Lauren, Gemma and Ben, went above and beyond to help make our dream cone true. They were so helpful, supportive and friendly and made the planning process so much easier than I had anticipated. On the day of the wedding, Ben and his team were incredible! The wholw day was even more amazing than we could have imagined. All our guests commented on how professional, helpful and friendly the staff were and one couple are actually considering getting married at Grand Villa Heights too!! We actually chose the venue as we had stayed at the hotel multiple tines before and know how stunning the location is. To be able to have our ceremony outside with that view was a dream come true! We cannot wait to return here to celebrate our 1 year anniversary next year 💕

The team at Grand Villa Heights have been absolutely amazing. From the early days of us planning our wedding they have been super responsive, helpful and have gone the extra mile in making our day special, right through to executing everything perfectly on the day. We couldn’t have wished for a smoother operation! Their experience shone in that nothing was too much for them and everything was carried out with ease, which meant we could enjoy our day without any stress. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - it has such a magical feel you don’t find anywhere else and the views across the rolling hills and north sea are abdolutely beautiful. There is lots of space within the hotel and on it’s grounds and it has a very relaxed feel, while still being special of course. From start to finish the staff and the hotel were wonderful. Gemma originally took us around the venue to show us how beautiful the wedding areas were. Ben then took over the wedding planning, and managed to organise the perfect day for us which was then executed perfectly by John and all of the staff on the day. You can tell everyone who works at the hotel loves their jobs, as they will go above and beyond to make your stay just that little bit more memorable. On the day, we had breakfast brought to the bridal suite (lodge), followed by some of the pre wedding brunch bites. The weather turned sunny the hour before the wedding, we couldn’t believe our luck! What great views to look out onto whilst you say your “I do’s” Post wedding drinks reception was orchestrated so well with all our guests saying how amazing the food was. The wedding breakfast was served very quickly, my grandma (97) said everything was “very hot and tasty”. The other guests said how lovely the beef was and the vegetable wellington was delicious and very different from the usual risotto vegetarian option. I loved the fact we had HUGE Yorkshire puddings and silverskins in the gravy, yum! The transition into day and evening shift was seamless as we held our evening reception in the “chapel”. This was decked out ready for the guests after the meal. Guests couldn’t the dance floor, chat at tables or relax in the private bar. Some guests with children even started to play big jenga in another room of the hotel away from the noise. We had a perfect day and have absolutely no regrets thanks to the venue and all its wonderful staff! We will hopefully revisit on our anniversary next year!

Our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. Raven Hall was the most amazing venue for our day and the photos truly capture how beautiful the setting is, our guests wondered why we were getting married so far from home...until they saw the view. Everyone commented on how wonderful the place is, both in the stunning views and the very attentative staff. The team at Raven Hall were absolutely amazing right from our first visit, to the finishing touches on the morning of the wedding, nothing was too much to ask and the team put us at ease with their knowledge and advice on timings of the day and confidence that everything would be perfect. The team of staff who helped us on the day really went the extra mile, with a particular shout out to Ben who made sure everything was running smoothly and was always available to help.

A great venue, could not recommend enough! The communication from them was great from booking up to the day itself. They were really helpful with set up and letting us know what they would do and want we needed to do. The food was amazing on the day and got a lot of comments from our guests to say this. The venue itself is in such a gorgeous location, our photos ended up being spectacular! And the staff on the day were all so friendly and helpful, and really well organised. Everything went super smooth. John in particular was amazing the day before and the day of, he was calm and knowledgable and made sure everything ran like clockwork. We had the best day ever!

Me and my husband got married here in August 23 and we can honestly say that there isn’t a word out there that can describe the absolute perfection of service that we have received from the very start of the wedding planning, to the day and the very end. There was not one thing they couldn’t cater for and even to the odd last minute changes it was, “ok not a problem sorted”. Just like that. Considering we live 3 hours away, for a day this big, they absolutely smashed it and I don’t think we could have had that level of service getting married nearer home. Absolutely amazing Our dream day had definitely come true and couldn’t of had it any better anywhere else

You made our wedding a truly magical experience from start to finish. The venue is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. All our guests have commented on what a superb venue it was and how much they enjoyed the day! Raven Hall will always have a special place in our hearts.

When we decided to get married, we knew it had to be at Raven Hall. With those views, we knew it would be really special and an unforgettable day. Plus, our photos with the North Yorkshire moors and Robin Hoods Bay as the backdrop are incredible. The team at Raven Hall were so so helpful; gave great advice and did everything to make the day stress free and enjoyable. Would recommend Raven Hall as a wedding venue.

We chose Raven Hall for the stunning venue and views and because our wedding day was on World Ocean's Day we wanted to be close to the ocean and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Leading up to the day the team were fantastic and as helpful as you could hope. On the day itself there was nothing to worry about as they made everything run seamlessly and we are still smiling at the memories, to last the rest of our happy life together!
