- HHelena & Matthieu27/09/2025The best day of our lives!!!!!The best day of our lives!!!!!From start to finish Sue was always at hand to help us, constantly reminding us it was our day and would do everything she could to accommodate our wishes. From providing an excellent menu tailored to us and our heritage (and it really was great food!!) to adding personal touches above and beyond what we could have asked for. It really was the best day of our lives (cliche but true!) and that was due to Sue and her team’s hard work (shout out to Karen who made sure the day ran smoothly too!) etcFrom start to finish Sue was always at hand to help us, constantly reminding us it was our day and would do everything she could to accommodate our wishes. Even down to sorting a DJ last minute for us when ours fell through (and what an incredible DJ he was!) Thank you to the team, we cannot express how much we loved it, and how we wish we could do it again!!!! Book here if you know what’s good!! We highly highly recommend it!!! As a wedding planner/coordinator it is imperative to work with the right vendors. I can honestly say that the venue was beautiful, and the venue events team were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All events have issues in the background, however when our two teams came together, we created a memorable experience for the happy couple and their 250 guests! This is definitely one of my venues of choice for events. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Edgbaston Golf Club to fellow wedding planners, anyone planning a wedding or any other special celebration. You will not be disappointed! Wow that's difficult - I've seen some lovely personalised 'favours/gifts' for guests, to the bride & groom hiring in prankster waitresses, and asking for a blend of the traditional cuisine during the day and their favourite weekend takeaway for the evening

Stunning Grade II listed Georgian mansion with such beautiful surroundings (and only just outside the vibrant City centre) and you really wouldn't know it when you're sitting on the Terrace with your friends and family.
