The 18th-century Threshing Barn retains its original beams, bare brick walls and rustic charm, offering a striking backdrop for the day’s celebrations. Its age and character are apparent from the moment you walk in. Across the venue, original features and thoughtfully restored spaces help create an atmosphere that feels relaxed, timeless and unique.
Guests will find plenty of beautiful spots for photographs – from the red brick Dutch Barns to open fields just across the lane.

- AAndy & Claire05/11/2025Beautiful Venue!Beautiful Venue!Donington Park Farmhouse was an excellent wedding venue. They looked after us really carefully through the entire run-up and on the day itself. They obviously know what they are doing really well, and this translates into a super professional and tailored experience. The venue itself is gorgeous! The hitching barn is such a lovely place to get married, and dance the night away. The courtyard makes for the perfect outside space. The bar area is both large and cosy. The surrounding countryside is picturesque. And they have 20 fantastic on-site bedrooms, which was a must-have for me personally. They have a separate dining room, so there's no waiting around while they reorganise rooms. The on-site kitchen is fantastic, and their food is excellent and all local (check out their venison!). They go out of their way to ensure all dietary requirements are catered for, and they were happy to customise the dining experience to our needs. The drinks packages were perfect for our needs. The staff were excellent, both our wedding planner and the lady in charge of us into the evening were excellent, and we felt super looked after. It was on the top-end of our budget, but we truly believe it was worth every penny. We had the most perfect best day ever!Donington Park Farmhouse was an excellent wedding venue. They adapted and were able to accommodate the things we wanted which made our day even special. Our wedding took part on one of the hottest days in July and they allowed the DJ to move to patio so we could party outside - absolutely incredible. We have had lots of feedback about how beautiful the venue was, how the nice the food was and especially how well dietary needs were catered for. Thank you for an unforgettable day!The wedding team are incredible - we didn’t really need to have any more contact with them other than the planned meetings because they make sure everything is covered! Throughout the whole planning process they were always there for anything we needed and the day went off without a hitch…even the sun came out for us in October! The perfect day. The venue is stunningly beautiful and the staff are incredible. The rooms are also luxurious and spacious. We had several meetings on the run up to the wedding where it was clear they were more than happy to do what it takes to make our day special. No request was too much and their flexibility was brilliant. Not something we had experience when speaking to other venues. They were incredibly organised and professional from the first look round until the doors closed at the end of our wedding day. They helped the day run very smoothly and ensured everyone knew what was going on and that all the guests were happy and having a great time while keeping any stress away from myself and the bride (not that there was any). They made sure myself and my wife were fed and didn't want for anything. Honestly I can't rate the venue and the staff highly enough. I'll be recommending them to absolutely anyone that will listen. Excellent service from the team who were attentive and helpful leading up to the wedding and on the day this made the day even more special. Absolutely brilliant food and service plus superb entertainment in the evening enjoyed by everyone. Would and have recommended the venue to many as great location and unique property. We had a super evening the night before, followed by an amazing wedding day taking over the whole venue and every bedroom. If you want a rustic themed wedding with gorgeous outdoor space and staff who can’t do enough for you, this is the place! The staff here absolutely know what your wedding means to you and provide an exceptional service both on the day and in all the planning leading up to it. The venue was also great value with the inclusive wedding party accommodation. Lastly the food was also delicious - the venue ticks every box and we received so many compliments about how lovely it was. Thank you, Donington Park Farmhouse!Donington Park Farmhouse was the first venue that me and my now husband visited together, and safe to say we fell in love with the place IMMEDIATELY! From the beautifully rustic barn to the pretty and quaint dining area and beautifully decorated hotel rooms, we knew straight away that this is where we wanted to get married. In the run up to the wedding, our Events Planner, Alicja, and the rest of the event planning team were just so incredibly helpful. I felt so scatty and hare-brained, but everytime I spoke with Alicja to catch up on the progress of the wedding plans, I left feeling totally reassured and that our wedding day was truly a priority for them. The menu options for our summer wedding were just perfect, and I honestly wish that we could have had a bit of everything! On the day, as a bride on her wedding morning, I couldn’t have felt more cared for by the wonderfully attentive team at Donington Park Farmhouse. I hadn’t planned the dressing room very well, so my advice would be to double check with the team which room provides the most space for dressing if you are a bride with a bridal party! We had a lovely morning getting ready in our room with a countryside view, I was almost as excited for Alicja to see my in my dress as I was my husband-to-be! The ceremony went without a hitch and the event team totally saved the day at every opportunity. They were so flexible with us changing our reception to the outdoor courtyard at the last minute (literally after the wedding breakfast!!) as we realised we had fantastic sunshine after much ambiguity about the weather in the days leading up to the wedding. Our day truly couldn’t have gone any better, and we have received so many compliments from our guests regarding the venue, the team and the FOOD!!! Our incredible cheeseboards. Visually stunning and go down a storm!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The Pig Sties, our formal dining room. It's one of a kind, an incredible talking point. (And full of natural light!)
What part of your business are you most proud of?
As a family, we're seriously committed to the environment. We have tonnes of solar panels (mostly out of sight!), a carbon-neutral heating system, reed bed sewage treatment (away from the site of course!) and try to buy locally, including from our own farm and deer park.
