Add to this our team fantastic chefs and immaculate service from our events team - and you have the recipe for a celebration held on a personal scale which is memorable for both you and your guests.
We are a small and exclusive hotel and we know how important your big day is, so we have a Wedding co-ordinator to help you plan your day just the way you had always dreamed. All of those important details of your landmark event, be it an intimate gathering or a large scale celebration, are handled expertly with care and professionalism. It's your day, so let us take care of the details leaving you to relax, enjoy and celebrate with your family and friends.
We like to be very personal when it comes to planning your wedding, the co-ordinator will be there every step of the way and provide guidance on important parts of your big day. To make it as less stressful as we can the co-ordinator and teams display all decorations you provide, so there is no need to delegate to bridesmaids or family members. It will all be taken care of for when you arrive on your big special day.
Each wedding is completely individual and that's why we provide a choice of packages or tailor-made weddings, so that you can turn your own wedding day vision into reality.

Your wedding will be the only wedding at our hotel. All weddings include a 3 course wedding breakfast from our menus selector. We will discuss with you the drinks available for you and your guests within our packages. During the evening our resident DJ will get the party started and all packages include a buffet option. As a treat from us to you we will include at no extra cost a complimentary bridal suite you the newlyweds for the night.

You delivered on all your promises and so did James. The food was delicious and the attention to detail made it so special. The staff were professional and courteous and I wouldn't have wanted to get married anywhere else. It all went so quickly but I hardly drank anything so I made the most of the day dancing right until the end. The room looked so lovely and seeing the photos reminded me again of the day. I am not sure if the photographer took any of the room while it was empty but I hope he did. Please thank everyone involved. We were absolutely thrilled. I can't thank you and the team at Donington Manor enough for making our wedding day so wonderful. You delivered on all your promises and so did James. From arrival to departure we were made to feel welcome and the service we received was fantastic. James, Kelly, Josie & Glenda just made the day run so smoothly, but not forgetting Ian in the kitchen who prepared and served us superb delicious food. Izzy, Josh, Jacob (plus 2 more who I can’t remember names of) looked after us all and made us feel so welcome along with having such a friendly banter too! All in All this hotel was perfect and exceeded all expectations, and I cannot thank you enough! Fantastic wedding venue. - MMark and Graham22/11/2022Some up the whole experience it would be AMAZINGSome up the whole experience it would be AMAZINGWell where do I start , we had our wedding here on 21/8/2021 , and from the initial meeting with our wedding planner we knew this was the perfect venue for us , James and all the team worked so hard to make our day perfect in every single way . Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, every member of staff was polite and courteous and made not only us but our wedding guests welcome . The day went just as we planned but we can honestly say it exceeded our expectations, the food was simple amazing and was of 5 star restaurant quality and we had quite a few vegetarians and 1 vegan and they all said how great the choice of food was outstanding. James himself was the most perfect host but special thanks must also go to Kelly ( our wedding planner) who stayed till 10.30 the night before our wedding to make sure that we were happy with the room set up , the timings of the ceremony/ speeches/ dining etc , also a huge thanks to Josie for keeping everything on track throughout the day and paying so much attention to detail. These words seem inadequate really to sum up the beyond fantastic experience that we had for our wedding but if I had to use one word to some up the whole experience it would be “ AMAZING “ , keep up the good work guys and give yourselves the biggest pat on the back ever from 2 very very happy grooms.
