Cutty Sark offers the only place in the world where you can get married beneath the shining hull of a ship. With four decks for your guests to explore, and offering views of the London skyline, this venue is perfect for those looking for something historic but less traditional.
Built in 1869 to carry tea back from China, this monument to the glory days of sail travelled the world and survived the high seas. The ship boasts a spectacular riverside setting with sweeping views across the Thames to the city beyond, providing amazing photography opportunities and a landmark location for your most significant events.

With access to the ship itself, this venue creates a real sense that you’re setting off on a new journey as you look out over the Thames and the far-reaching views of London beyond. Here, you and your loved ones can celebrate the beginning of your next chapter. Just steps away from a pier, the venue has direct access from the Thames - should you and your guests decide to arrive by riverboat or yacht. All weddings at RMG are completely bespoke, so your wedding will be as unique as the venue itself. We work with specialist luxury suppliers to curate a celebration that is right for you. This historic vessel can host up to 240 for a wedding.
EVENT SPACES
The Ship Decks: The Dry Hold, ‘Tween Deck, and Weather Deck - Your guests can explore the ship on arrival. You may choose to solemnize your wedding on board or host a drinks reception on the main deck overlooking the Thames and enjoy the city views.
The Dry Berth – The main event space, where your guests will dine and dance. There’s plenty of room for a stage and dance floor as well as the dinner setup - all beneath the copper-clad hull of Cutty Sark, suspended dramatically overhead.

I planned a two day wedding for my clients with events hosted at the Cutty Sark and Queen's House. Both venues provided the most awe inspiring backdrop to the couples' celebrations and I know the guests were blown away. The RMG events team were fantastic from start to finish... As a planner, working in partnership with an excellent events team makes everything so much smoother and more enjoyable...RMG venues offers some of the most unique and magical venues in London. I planned a two day wedding for my clients with events hosted at the Cutty Sark and Queen's House. Both venues provided the most awe inspiring backdrop to the couples' celebrations and I know the guests were blown away. The RMG events team were fantastic from start to finish... As a planner, working in partnership with an excellent events team makes everything so much smoother and more enjoyable...

We were particularly impressed with just how flexible and accommodating the Queen’s House was given the historical significance of the building, our unique requirements, and the various weather scenarios we had. Giulia was outstanding and a huge asset throughout the whole pre, during and post event period. She was always very responsive, making us feel like we were the only wedding she was working on and gave us great advice throughout, even on items that were not directly related to the Queen’s House. I was also very impressed with the service when Giulia was on holiday. Due to the weather, I was changing big parts of the day setup the week before the event, but Sam and the rest of the team were able to pick this up no problem and it was then seamlessly handed back over to Giulia when she returned. Overall, we cannot thank Giulia & The Queen’s House enough for making our wedding the best day ever. Our experience with the Queen’s House was exceptional and I do not think any more could have been done to enhance the service.
