Altskeith Country House on Loch Ard

My daughter Gillian was married at Altskeith House on Saturday 11th and Alison, Yas and all the staff did an amazing job despite the Scottish weather. We all had a great weekend at this amazing venue. The food, rooms and staff are well worth a five star rating. A Proud Father of the Bride.

Home from a fabulous wedding at this stunning venue. Alison and the team were superb. On hand to support the bride and groom with everything they needed. Thank you Alison for making my sisters day the best. We all had an amazing weekend.

We really did have the most perfect weekend for our wedding at Altskeith House. The setting and the venue speaks for itself but you also get the exceptional added bonus that is Alison who is a total pro and keeps you right and at ease the whole time. Her communication is excellent and she was so supportive as we had to postpone our wedding twice. The day runs so smoothly and it’s all thanks to her and her team. Zero stresses for a bride and groom! I loved having exclusive use of the house all weekend - really made it so straightforward. Big thanks to Yas too - the food is just out of this world and we were well fed the whole time. Still dreaming of that brisket 🙂. You will not go wrong with an Altskeith wedding.

From the very moment David & I visited Altskeith House we fell in love and knew this was where we wanted to get married! I want to thank Alison, Yas and all the staff for all the hard work on making our day so special, for welcoming all our guests & allowing us to make memories that we will all cherish forever.

Family Wedding Our daughter had her small family wedding at Altskeith Country House last week. We would like to thank Alison who is superwoman all she is missing is a cape!! for all the effort and dedication she put into us having the best time we could have asked for. The location is stunning and the grounds are absolutely beautiful and make a fabulous backdrop for wedding pictures. We would also like to thank Yas who provided us with an absolute feast - with all his specialty meats and sides and sticky toffee pudding for dessert they all went down a treat. We loved the Italian wood fired pizzas in the evening along with Alison’s delicious cocktails a porn star martini being a new favourite. The house and bedrooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was again another feast with everything you could have asked for.
