The Crown Hotel Harrogate is a beautiful venue that will give you wonderful memories of your wedding day or civil partnership celebration that you can treasure forever.
What better setting for the perfect day than this traditional hotel with a contemporary feel? The Crown Hotel is centrally located in Harrogate. It is close to Valley Gardens and overlooks Montpellier Gardens and offers plenty of pretty, stylish and striking opportunities for wedding photos to suit your personal style.
We are here to help with the planning and preparation and to manage everything on the day. We want you to have absolute confidence in our experienced team so you and your partner are free to enjoy your day. Whether you live in Harrogate or the surrounding area, or if you have chosen us as a wedding getaway, rest assured we want your civil partnership or wedding to fulfil your dreams. The Crown Hotel holds a Civil Ceremony licence and you may find it more convenient and relaxing to hold both your ceremony and reception under one roof. Our licence allows us to hold the ceremony in six of our rooms so we can cater for small weddings and large ones - as well as civil partnership celebrations, of course.

My mum has written a review and as she stated we had several wedding planners which knocked out confidence until Gemma came to the rescue she really was the super hero wedding planner and my big day would not have gone as well as it did without her.. The big day arrived and the ceremony was in the Bronte suite and it looked like a fairy tale it was perfect; we then received out welcome drink and canopies which were very tasty. Next Peter the duty manager of the day advised he would be overseeing the wedding breakfast and line up; he made sure everyone was aware of the line up and that all the guests were seated for my husband and I to walk in. I should mention that the staff turned the Bronte suite around in an hour and a half for the wedding breakfast and the room looked amazing. The food was hot and delicious and the staff so efficient with Monica ensuring that the wedding breakfast ran smoothly.. We then had the evening do in the Churchill suite which Gemma had kindly discounted for is due to the hiccups with previous wedding planners. The staff moved our flower arrangements into the suite smoothly and made the room a perfect setting for an evening do. The buffet was delicious and got the fish and chips went down a storm.. We stayed in the junior suite complimentary which was lovely and clean and we received a wedding card from the hotel which was a lovely touch; the bed was comfy and the hotel was decorated with archaic pictures of Harrogate bringing more of Harrogate into the hotel. The Shower was hot and the towels nice and soft.. We had breakfast the next day and this was tasty hot cooked breakfast with local produce perfect for a hangover from the wedding before.. Our wedding was perfect and more it was my dream wedding everything I could have dreamed of. Gemma was amazing and none of it would have been possible she turned all of my many emails into the dream I had visualised thank you Gemma your a star.
