There is a range of photo opportunities available to capture your special day at the Cross Keys Hotel, from the unique cobbled square with its magnificent Town Hall to the ancient Kelso Abbey. The hotel also has access to a private riverside garden only a horse and carriage ride away.
Whether you are planning an intimate family wedding or a grand celebration, our team can advise you on the most suitable suite and food and drinks package for your special day. We can cater for as little as 15 and as many as 200 guests and the hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies, ensuring your day can move seamlessly from ceremony to celebration.
Our wonderfully spacious ballroom is suited to wedding meals for 40 to 200 daytime guests. The maximum number for evening celebrations is 240 guests. The Ballroom can be configured in a variety of different sizes and layouts offering endless possibilities for styling the space for your day.
The Oak Room offers a more intimate space for smaller wedding parties to enjoy celebrations. It is the perfect suite for sharing your special day with just close family and friends. The Oak Room gets its name from its rich oak panelling that creates an elegant ambiance. The Oak Room is suited to wedding meals for 15 to 30 daytime guests. Maximum numbers for evening celebrations is 70 guests.
We have had the pleasure and honour of being entrusted with literally hundreds of weddings and we are proud and passionate about ensuring that each one is a stunning occasion. Our dedicated wedding team are on hand to assist you with the planning of your event and to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day. Each wedding is important, individual and special to us.

As a strict vegetarian, the chef was thoughtful in suggesting a number of different dishes to cater to my needs. Luca, oversaw the whole day for us. Always in the background, ensuring that everything ran smoothly - which it did.Apparently, organising a wedding is one of the most stressful things you go through in life?? Thanks to Luca and his team, it was actually a pleasure and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole process, from start to finish.Our guests raved about the location of the hotel, arriving the day before the wedding gave them a morning to stroll around the cobbled streets.
