Cottesmore Hotel Golf and Country Club

We fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it, the views are stunning and the hotel and reception area are beautifully set out and spacious. Jackie, Julie and their team were fantastic from day 1, they were so helpful and were always on hand for any questions or concerns we had without delay. Our day went without a hitch and the food was fantastic, our guests were so happy, some who had recently married themselves even said they wished they had found this venue! The staff were fantastic and helpful and attentive. We had an outdoor wedding which was so beautiful but it was a very hot day and they made sure all our guests were comfortable while they waited for the ceremony and not burning in the hot sun. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

Nothing was too much trouble - Jackie and Julie made this pretty major experience as relaxed as could be. We were reassured every step of the way, and Cottesmore were constantly making improvements to the venue over the two years it took for us to reach our big day. The transformation from what we booked, to what we experienced was second to none. The courtyard was a vision, even without the wisteria in full bloom! All staff were incredible. Just needed more hours in the day to take it all in.

We got married at Cottesmore in May 2024, and it really was the best day ever. From booking, all the way through to the day itself, everything ran smoothly. Communication from the venue was brilliant, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how trivial they seemed. The venue itself is beautiful, all our guests commented on how lovely it was, the bedrooms included. Compared to other local venues we looked at, we also felt Cottesmore offered great value for money.

Great venue and Julie was super helpful! The food and beverage staff were great! The outside ceremony area is absolutely stunning and a perfect place to have your wedding with all your family and friends.

From the start Jackie and Julie were really helpful, they always replied quickly to any questions we had, they made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and were always so professional. The venue grounds are stunning and its so helpful having onsite hotel rooms for guests to stay in. All of the guests commented on how good the food was and every table was served at the same time so no one had finished eating while others were still waiting.

The Cottesmore exceeded our expectations. The weddings team were brilliant. We had several meetings before our big day and they were always on hand to answer any questions I had. On the day they were there to make sure that everything ran seamlessly and the food and beverage team were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding planning and wedding day was stress-free thanks to them and I couldn’t recommend them enough, thank you.

We had the absolute best wedding at Cottesmore. Julie and Jackie were so accommodating, kind, informative and just helped us to know what we needed to know and they dealt with the rest. They couldn’t do enough and it’s clear they love what they do. The venue is STUNNING, surrounded by greenery it feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, the staff were incredible - so kind, and the food was amazing. I cannot praise Jackie & Julie ( events managers) enough for their professionalism, organisation and flexibility. There are three rooms which means you can have the ceremony then canapés followed by wedding breakfast without having to move far or wait for room to be set up. There were enough waiting staff to ensure everyone’s meal was served hot. The setting is beautiful even in the winter. One friend described it as the best wedding they had ever been to.
