- MMe and Thee24/08/2018Absolutely fumingAbsolutely fumingSent an enquiry asking whether our date for the wedding was free and explained I am a wheelchair user wondering about the suitability of the venue. I was told it was all fine, venue is free on that date and they are accessible. The visit to view the venue was booked and confirmed two days before the visit took place. We drove an hour to get to the location.... where we sat down at the only suitable table for a wheelchair, a dirty, crumb-covered, table despite there being no-one else around! We were asked for our preferred date and when we gave her exactly the same date as we had been emailing about just 2 days before, she told us it had been booked, did we have another date? Our Friday evening wasted, furious that she couldn't just even send an email to save us the 3 hour round trip! It was also most definitely not suitable for wheelchairs!
