The exclusive hire charge will depend on the season in the year and also the day of the week. Our High Season falls from May to September. Mid Season is April, October and December and our Low Season is January, February and November. We offer an exclusive use hire of the Barns which does not include catering. We work with over seven associate catering partners to ensure you can the style of budget of catering that you would like to have. This gives you great flexibility throughout the day. we also offer a non corkage option if you would like to supply your drinks for your drinks reception after your ceremony and also wine and toast drink for the Wedding Breakfast.

Perfect venuePerfect venue
We searched high and low for a venue and after our first visit to Cissbury Barns we knew we had found the one. Not only is the location absolutely stunning, but the venue is perfect and the staff are all amazing. No question was too small or silly to be answered (and there were many emails back and forth containing both!) and they were fully on board to help us create the perfect wedding day. Both the barns and the gardens created a lovely space for our guests to spread out and enjoy the day and we felt very looked after throughout the day. The addition of the onsite accommodation was amazing and getting ready in the North Wing apartment made the whole day run smoothly. So many of our guests commented on what a lovely venue it is. We had an amazing wedding day and that is in part down to the incredible venue and lovely team at Cissbury Barns. We cannot recommend them enough! My husband and I got married at Cissbury Barns a couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is WOW. As quite an anxious bride, I found the lead-up stressful with all the organising and wanting everything to be perfect for our guests. However, Michelle and the team were incredible, always contactable and so quick to respond, which made such a difference. On the day itself, everything was absolutely amazing. The team were spectacular, often taking care of things before I’d even thought to mention them. They truly put us first and went above and beyond to make the day special, and they absolutely succeeded. The venue itself is stunning, and we’ve had so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful it was. The most perfect day!The most perfect day!
We got married here in September and had the most amazing day. Not only is the venue beautiful, the staff could not have been more helpful leading up to the day, and on the day itself - helping with styling decisions, how we would adjust the day depending on the weather, amongst so many other things. We had so many comments from guests saying how well run things were, down to the smallest details. Would highly recommend to anyone who is considering having their wedding here - it could not have been more perfect! :) We got married here in September and had the most amazing day. Not only is the venue beautiful, the staff could not have been more helpful leading up to the day, and on the day itself - helping with styling decisions, how we would adjust the day depending on the weather, amongst so many other things. Cissbury Barns is an absolutely stunning venue and we could be happier that we picked it as our wedding venue. Firstly, the team are exceptional. They are so organised and made us feel totally relaxed on our wedding day and during the build up. They run an incredibly slick operation and don’t miss a thing. The whole team including Michelle, Charlie, Etta and Geoffrey are so committed and passionate about what they do. The venue itself has everything you could ask for. We loved the fact that everything was all in one location which made things so much easier on the day and for our suppliers. They also have recommended suppliers who are fantastic and have a great relationship with Cissbury which again makes the whole process so much easier and smoother. Cissbury is absolutely beautiful - you really don’t need any additional styling elements. We were lucky enough to have our ceremony outside which was breathtaking. They also have a ceremonial barn which is just as stunning so we felt very lucky to have this as a wet weather option. We would highly recommend Cissbury Barns, we feel so lucky we found this venue and team. Perfect wedding day Perfect wedding day
Michelle and her team are truly incredible and obviously experienced in running seamless wedding days. From viewing the venue to after the wedding, communication was fantastic and I never once doubted whether we made the right choice. Being able to stay in the north wing apartment the night before the wedding and the night of made it so convenient, not to mention beautiful! I didn’t have to think of a single thing on the day as the team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it beautiful and run to time. To have such genuinely warm and competent people on your wedding day is something that should not be taken for granted and Cissbury shine at this. Everyone couldn’t compliment the venue setting enough and Michelle took creative licence (with my permission!) to transform the ceremony barn into something beautiful when our heart was set on an outdoor ceremony. I wish we could have our wedding day all over again and we can’t thank the team enough for helping us create a truly wonderful wedding day. Thank you! Michelle and her team are truly incredible and obviously experienced in running seamless wedding days. Cissbury Barns is a truly beautiful venue with stunning views, a ceremony space beneath the trees and barns that hardly need any extra decoration. We loved the option of moving the ceremony indoors if the weather changed, which gave us real peace of mind. The layout also worked perfectly for our day as the outdoor seating, bar and dance floor are all close together. It felt inclusive and our guests could easily move between spaces without anyone feeling separated. The team at Cissbury were fantastic from start to finish. Christine was always quick to respond and worked closely with us to make sure every detail was covered. The master event schedule they provided helped us stay organised and ensured everything ran smoothly. On the day itself Christine and the team were so supportive and we felt completely looked after. We chose our caterers from the recommended list and the food was absolutely outstanding. If the rest are of the same quality, couples are in for a real treat. We would wholeheartedly recommend Cissbury Barns to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Travel Notes

We are situated just off the A24 before you enter the village of Findon. As you turn into Nepcote (leading into Nepcote Lane) drive for 500 metres until you reach a very sharp left hand bend. At this bend turn immediately right into the Cissbury Estate. Follow the right hand track all the way down and then bare right and drive as if you are going into the horse stables. Then turn immediately left up the track to the Barns. Is is signposted as you enter Cissbury Estate.

Enjoy the journey. The planning should be fun and enjoyable. Enjoy connecting with all your suppliers and getting creative with all your dreams and ideas for your day.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

It is true that the devil is in the detail. Favourite that is so difficult. I remember one couple who had 120 guests for their place setting they found a picture of that guest with them at some point in their lives and printed it off and made it into their place setting. You can imagine the reaction as everyone sat down and a great memory to share and talk about with everyone at the table. Loved it.
