We opted for the exclusive use package, which catered to every need. Most of our guest list were international guests, and being able to host everyone comfortably under one roof for the full weekend was incredible. From the food to the helpful staff and gorgeous grounds, I highly recommend choosing Chilston Park for your wedding if you are looking for English elegance.We got married at Chilston Park in August, and it was nothing short of perfection. In the lead up to our wedding Molly was very helpful and answered every question we had promptly. I stayed over the night before with my bridesmaids and we got a complimentary room added due to the extra bed put in a suite being uncomfortable. The food in the restaurant the night before was lovely and service was great. On the actual day we had support from Deb and Ryan who bent over backwards for us. From ensuring everything ran smoothly to the little extras like making sure my dad had his favourite beer (a non- alcoholic version as he couldn't drink at the time). The entire staff were so organised that we felt like we didn't need to do much other than be there and focus on our vows and enjoy the day. We were lucky with the weather as it was a beautiful sunny day and all the guests were kept hydrated. The food for both the wedding breakfast and hog roast in the evening was amazing! We have had several guests since still refer to how good it was! We had the exclusive use package which included rooms, so quite a few guests stayed! Every one of them raved about how great their rooms were and the breakfast the following morning. We would highly recommend Chilston Park for a wedding venue as there wasn't a single fault! Sophie who worked with us from the beginning - to the staff working over the wedding weekend (Liam, Matt, Ella, Becky) They all could not do enough for us and made the entire experience amazing. From the moment we first looked around we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The grounds and buildings are simply stunning and you will be guaranteed the most beautiful photo's. We were quite worried about a family member and her wheelchair being able to fit and freely move around and at every stage of the journey the team could not do enough to make sure that she was looked after. We found every single meeting increased our excitement, having not met Jane initially we are so grateful and pleased to be paired up with her as our wedding coordinator. Her communication with us has been incredible and we felt supported every step of the way. She went out of her way to answer every question we had relating to the hotel but also relating to other aspects of getting married like dealing with registrars! We attended several wedding fairs and found most of our suppliers this way, the Chilston team and suppliers are almost like a big family and even working with some suppliers who had got married at the hotel was so helpful and definitely added a really unique perspective to our experience. Everything about our wedding day was perfect. We would go as far as calling it the most magical and best day of both our lives. The care on the Friday of the bride and her bridesmaids, helping us put things in the right locations, the dinner in the blue dining room, the care of our family and friends who came the night before because of the distance they travelled and the advice and kindness given by every member of staff made the Friday stress free and the most perfect way for the bride to spend the day before we got married. Jane being there on the wedding day was really special and certainly made us feel a lot calmer. Becky in the morning was also fantastic dealing with all the questions we had and lending some muscle to suppliers who would otherwise have had the sharp end of her tongue! The constant updates from Becky in the morning meant she had very little to get stressed about and could look forward to the ceremony. The care of Lewis and others in the moments before she walked down the aisle meant that she could just be in the moment and not worry about what she had to do and where she needed to be, they simply took care of every single thing. The whole day is a complete blur because of how perfect it was and how good the hotel was on that day. The wedding was sublime and we want to give a special mention to Ali who made the food tasting a really great experience for us and all of our guests have commented on how good the food was. We also want to give a shout out to the young waiter who served us our food tasting and was there for most of the wedding day - he stepped in as toastmaster and we are so grateful for the service he’s given us and the smile he always wears whenever anything was asked. The thing that sets Chilston apart from any other experience we’ve had is the service. There was always somebody to help us if we needed it, the level of care attention to detail and knowing what we needed before we even knew we needed it was insanely good. We have stayed in some incredible hotels but Chilston felt like home that weekend. There aren’t enough words to express the thanks that we want to give the team at Chilston. Thank you for making our day magical and we really look forward to sharing many more milestones with you as we move forward on our journey as a married couple. Enjoy the experience! Planning your perfect day is something you have probably been thinking about for years so when it comes to doing it you should make every moment count! The day of your wedding will fly by so the lead up is so important.

It's always great to see how couples choose to distinguish their tables for their table plan. We've seen couples use holiday locations they have been to, different types of gin and even their favourite songs by a particular artist.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our couples love to get photos walking in front of the Manor House with the glistening fountain in shot. The more natural countryside surrounding the lake also makes for some very romantic pictures.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
We regard all our wedding couples as celebrities and that's exactly how you should feel on your day which is all about you.
What’s your favourite canapé?
It has to be the mini beef & Yorkshire pudding.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Is there anything better than a bacon roll at midnight? Your guests will love this!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The grand staircase is a showstopper. It is the perfect way to make an entrance on your big day.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are very proud of how happy we make our wedding couples on their day. It can be scary to put your trust in others and be sure they will make your day perfect but the glowing feedback we receive from our couples tells us that we do a great job of this!
