Cherrytrees sits in the hills near the small village of Yetholm on the Scottish/English border and has inspirational views across the Cheviots. This secret germ of a garden includes a beautifully appointed Victorian conservatory and terrace providing an elegant country setting for a dreamy intimate wedding ceremony with up to 20 guests.
Your wedding ceremony can take place either in the garden with or in the conservatory while a dinner can be arranged as a 3 course meal on the terrace or a bbq or picnic, with guests sitting around the garden or within the conservatory itself. At Cherrytrees ,we only hold a very few weddings each year and all when the garden is at its most magnificent to ensure every wedding is as good as it possibly can be. With only a few weddings each wedding is as individual as you are, with every detail thought through.
Amanda grows flowers for local event florists in the cutting garden and so you will have the pick of the bunch all grown in the garden you get married in, to make up magnificent, locally grown, highly scented and totally sustainable bouquets and wedding flowers.
Due to the nature of the venue we are also a perfect venue for very intimate weddings and elopements. Couples with under 10 guests will have the use of the estate and can be married anywhere from the top of the hill overlooking the Cheviot national park, to the bank of the loch or in the safari style camp on the estate.

I am the owner and manager of the Cherrytrees Garden and Venue, I am passionate about the garden and spend long hours happily making sure that it is looking its best for our weddings. I love that we can share the garden with couples at this incredibly special time of their lives. I love getting to know the couples and really enjoy helping them plan a totally unique and magical day here at Cherrytrees. It really is a privilege to be part of the special day!

When we went to visit the venue we soon fell in love with the beautiful location! Our host Amanda was so wonderful and helpful towards us in our wedding planning. The garden in full bloom takes your breath away. All the flower decorations, bouquets were superb. You would have been hard pushed to make staying at Cherrytrees for the wedding any better than it was when we stayed. It was very relaxing, Amanda and James were so friendly and unobtrusive .
