Carwinley Barn sits within the grounds of an 1826 mill house once belonging to the local estate. Located just 8 miles from the M6, northwest of Carlisle the venue benefits from easy access and transport whilst maintaining a cosy countryside setting. The barn itself sits within its own enclosed courtyard area, along the river and with views into the adjacent meadow. Bi-fold entrance doors open onto a large patio and entrance area with a path leading to the secret garden and pavilion where couples can exchange their vows. Suitable for up to 120 guests on an evening, it is the ideal venue for those planning an intimate wedding celebration. It is fully furnished and air-conditioned for year-round use. It has restrooms, a kitchen for your caterers, and a fully stocked bar. Within the grounds are five one bedroomed holiday lets each with their own private garden area and hot tub.The Heronry, the largest of the five, makes a perfect bridal suite with its large open plan living spaces and its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river and forest. The neighbouring cottage makes makes a perfect grooms suite, and also offers a sofa bed making room for fourin the property. Three micro-lets are situated within the rest of the grounds perfect for family and friends.
