From elegantly furnished regency rooms in our Georgian Mansion, to our spacious grand pavilion, there are a huge range of spaces for you to use to shape your perfect day as you want it. With the castle available for your exclusive use for the whole wedding, you’re free to enjoy your day uninterrupted from morning through late into the night.
Whatever style and size of wedding you dream of, with plenty of space for guests, and stunning on-site accommodation, you can make the most of your time in each other’s company.
Our talented chefs from our award-winning onsite 1176 restaurant will work with you to create a delicious menu for your day.
Whether you’re looking for a la carte or street food, we can make sure your wedding meal lives up to the occasion. From carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients to perfect presentation and great service, every aspect is carefully thought through to make sure it’s exactly what you want.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our venue! If you are looking for a unique and bespoke wedding then you are most certainly looking in the right place. We may be a small team here at Cardigan Castle but we pride ourselves in making sure that each couple has the Wedding Day of their dreams. Every wedding has it's own personal touch. I will be by your side to co-ordinate the day from the first point of contact we make to the morning after the big day!

From the first meeting, Gwen was bubbly, passionate, helpful and answered any questions we had. She continued to be responsive throughout the planning of our wedding and offered numerous meetings to ensure we were happy with every part of the day. The food by the in house catering company, Holden's Catering, was out of this world and the majority of our guests said that it was the best food at a wedding they had ever eaten. Gwen liaised with Holden's Catering so that everything from canapes and arrival drinks through to the evening meal was flawless. I can't rate the team at Cardigan Castle highly enough and would recommend anyone to have their wedding here. The staff really made the difference for us, trying to plan a wedding can be stressful enough yet alone planning one during a pandemic but from the very start the staff were so understanding and accommodating, we really cannot thank them enough! The catering team were incredibly knowledgeable, flexible and helpful in working with us to choose the perfect wedding breakfast to compliment our day. The food was absolutely outstanding, all of our guests raved about it and nobody was disappointed with any of the choices. The accommodation was the perfect addition to our weekend, not only was it luxurious but it was ideal having the wedding party and key family members on site to assist with everything before and afterwards. There are few venues in the country that can compete with the history and beauty Cardigan castle has to offer, the grounds and facilities really allowed us to create such a memorable wedding for us and our guests.
