Amazing wedding venue. The food was absolutely fantastic as were the staff coordinating the day and the run up, particularly Stephanie who was on hand throughout the day to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possibleAmazing wedding venue. My husband and I got married here on 16th March 2024 and it was incredible! The staff worked tirelessly all day to make our day the most amazing day. They could not have done enough for us and we can’t recommend this venue highly enough! The food from the canapés, to the wedding breakfast and finally the wood fired pizza oven were absolutely delicious and so many of our guests commented the same! The portions were plentiful and piping hot!My husband and I got married here on 16th March 2024 and it was incredible! The staff worked tirelessly all day to make our day the most amazing day. They could not have done enough for us and we can’t recommend this venue highly enough! The food from the canapés, to the wedding breakfast and finally the wood fired pizza oven were absolutely delicious and so many of our guests commented the same! I came here as a wedding photographer and I have to say it lives up to the hype and then some! Every single corner both inside and outside is extremely wedding photo album worthy. The staff are all really nice and a pleasure to work alongside which as a supplier helps immensely. Our wedding day was so perfect and we couldn’t have done it without you all at Canada Lodge and Lake. We knew our wedding day would be beautiful just with your amazing surroundings and venue, but what we didn’t know was how incredibly perfect it would be just for us, the staff were all incredible, food was delicious- those canapés (chefs kiss). September weddingSeptember wedding
My cousin & her now husband, got married here at the start of September! We arrived early on the Thursday, and was immediately stunned by the views! Even though it was raining, the lake and the scenery was spectacular. The weather got nicer throughout the day and the views just got better and better. Very excited to see the photographers photos as my own do not do this place justice!My cousin & her now husband, got married here at the start of September! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?

Every wedding tells a different story and is entirely unique in its own way, that's the beauty of working in the wedding industry. Instead of a 'best wedding' I would say there have been many elements that have been the best from different weddings. I would always encourage couples to put their own stamp/twist for their day which is certainly something we can help with at Canada Lodge & Lake

What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Remember that it is 'your' big day and it is important to consider the things that 'you' both want.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

We had a wedding that instead of having an 'order of the day' sign, they had personalized newspapers on the ceremony seats with details on how they met, the order of the day, who was in the groomsmen/bridal party and a memorial section for loved ones that had sadly passed. I thought this was really clever and looked great!

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

I would say the best photo spot would be on our lakeside path with the lodge/Lake in the background, it is a truly stunning view! (Especially in Autumn too with the auburn tree's!)

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

Sadly not yet!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Our miniature fish and chip canapé is always a huge hit!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Definitely our wood fired pizza's on our outdoor pizza oven!

What is your venue's most unique feature?

Our unique feature is definitely the lake! It's such an beautiful backdrop for our weddings all year round!

What part of your business are you most proud of?

We strive at providing a personal service here at Canada Lodge and the team are always here to help you through what can be a daunting time for couples booking and planning a wedding.
