An exclusive use coastal wedding venue in Old Hunstanton, North Norfolk. With 36 bedrooms and a range of wedding packages, we have somthing for everyone.
Enjoy free venue hire from November to March when all bedrooms are booked by wedding guests.
Caley is an approved venue for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships but if you’d prefer a church wedding the beautiful St Mary’s Church is just a few minutes walk away.

We were made to feel so special from the moment we checked in until the moment we left. Would highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone planning there big day. We have been staying at The Caley Hall Hotel on our holidays in Old Hunstanton for many years and knew this was the perfect location for our special day. The staff are all fantastic, they looked after us and all our guests including our dog Ruby so well and made us feel so special. It was a very hot day but everyone worked so hard to make our day perfect. Dani our wedding coordinator was brilliant, so accommodating to all our requests, a calm head when stress levels rose and performed faultlessly on the day. The food is excellent, the rooms are comfortable and the location is amazing. The hotel really does have everything! A lot of our guests stayed a few nights before/after our wedding and they all commented how lovely it was and some are already planning to come back for a holiday. We can’t thank the team at The Caley enough for making our day so perfect. Daniel, Evan and the rest of the staff were incredible in making sure we felt welcome at the hotel. They were incredibly personable and friendly and it was a pleasure getting to know them. Danielle was amazing, she made sure that the plans for our wedding could work but also gave us her years of experience in helping either enhancing the ideas we had or helping us look at things in a different way and that advice was truly invaluable. All the rooms were spacious and luxurious and they were incredibly comfortable to sleep in, they even came with little bags full of biscuits, which was a great way to start the day (in my opinion). The food was some of the best food I've ever had and we can't wait to go back to try some more. The room was immaculate and beautifully presented. It was a great size with good amenities. We had a sofa, smart TV, coffee table and chairs and a tea tray, the room also had a hairdryer which was great because I'd forgotten mine! The bathroom was large and impeccably clean with both a bath and a shower in it. Had evening meals on both nights in the hotel. Menu choice was good and found the food to be excellent. We have a Labrador who loves swimming so the 10 minute walk to the beach is perfect. The food at Caley is first class and the restaurant staff - both in the evening and at breakfast- make you feel special. We chose Caley Hall for its peaceful location near the beach, unique layout and relaxed friendly atmosphere. After the ceremony, which was at a local church, we enjoyed arrival drinks in the lounge. There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere with the fire roaring, and all our family and friends together. Our three course wedding breakfast was excellent. The food was delicious and the service was brilliant. It ticked all our boxes: Exclusive use for the wedding day and morning after. Everything in one place – no moving between venues. Characterful bedrooms for all our guests, at various sizes and price. Multiple zones for evening entertainment depending on guest’s preference. Accommodation for the whole weekend for those who wanted it – which ended up being 21 of us. Great location. Beautiful style and décor. An open and clear pricing structure – no hidden surprises. Delicious and varied food options. Useful local vendor list, but no pressure to use their recommendations. We pencilled in a date there and then, firming it up just a week later. From start to finish Danielle was brilliant. She was patient and professional with all our requests, no matter how random. Having one venue and one coordinator worked exceptionally well and should not be underestimated. Any external vendors we did get in (Photo Booth, Band, Doughnut deliveries) were taken care of on the day by Danielle and the team. There was not a single thing we had to be consulted on during the day, everything went according to plan, without a flicker of drama. Our guests remarked that all the staff were friendly and welcoming, and helped make the weekend successful. This was a very cost effective wedding for 2023 – but the look, feel and quality would have you thinking it cost so much more. It was incredibly special to have the exclusive use of a hotel where everybody could make a proper night of it and not worry about arranging taxis home or finding accommodation. The main day carries over to the next morning which was a bonus. Everyone was able to have their own spaces during the day if needed (useful for our 12 day old niece!) and everything everyone needed was within reach. Staying the night before the wedding meant the morning of was stress free, as Danielle and the staff handled absolutely everything, taking it all in their stride. We instantly knew this was the place for us, for our special day. With such a lovely interior,amazing grounds and exterior, super friendly staff and incredible food, we had instantly made our decision. From start to finish of our 3 years of planning Danielle has been amazing. Always at the other end of the phone/ email and happy for a meeting if ever we wanted. Any communication with vendors was dealt with by Danielle once confirmed and also any guest queries. Everything was sorted by staff the evening before and throughout the day of the wedding, including filling up our crisp wall and working with our DIY pieces too. Our wedding day was faultless, everything ran smoothly and the staff were super helpful making sure all the small details were complete and perfect. This made for the perfect wedding, we couldn’t have asked for more. Danielle was on hand 100% of the time and really helped to keep us at ease and stress free throughout. The exclusive hire is a lovely touch, meaning we were able to hire a hot donut van for in the car park and all enjoy breakfast the next morning as a large group too. A lovely extra added touch. Every single one of our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how lovely and friendly all of the staff were. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
It was a crisp winters day and the bride and groom with their party arrived back at the hotel after a church ceremony in a big red bus. The log burner was alight in the warm cozy lounge and guests enjoyed mulled wine and hot cider before making their way through to the beautifully decorated restaurant for hearty and warming pie and mash, fruit crumble and delicious cheese platters. All the guests were staying at the hotel so could pop back and forth to their rooms and they all loved the fact that it felt like a home from home. The evening music began and more guests arrived. The evening buffet was a mound of bacon and sausage baps, chocolate brownie and wedding cake. It was a fantastic day enjoyed by all!
