Facilities and Capacity

Caer Llan offers the choice of a beautiful outdoor space for your ceremony and reception, including sun‑soaked patios and sweeping terraces — perfect for warm‑weather celebrations. Our elegant stretch tent (available May to October) provides shade or light‑rain cover, while the romantic wedding gazebo creates a truly enchanting spot for your vows. If the weather has other ideas, you’ll have complete peace of mind. Our indoor spaces are ready as a seamless backup, giving you the flexibility to choose whether to go indoors or outdoors on the day of your wedding. Wherever you choose to celebrate, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The grounds are full of stunning photo spots — from gardens and lawns to wide open views. You’re free to wander, explore and even enjoy a dip in the outdoor pool for a fun, relaxed moment.

You can host up to 80 guests for your ceremony and reception, with up to 120 guests in the evening for dancing and celebration.

Accommodation

With 16 spacious ensuite bedrooms, Caer Llan can welcome up to 50 guests overnight. Rooms are comfortable and inviting, with ground‑floor accessible suites available for wheelchair users.

Services Offered

We offer weddings on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, allowing you to stay from the night before your wedding through to the morning after—without the added cost of additional venue hire days. As a family-run venue, Vicky and Jake, along with their dedicated team, are here throughout your journey, offering friendly, hands‑on support to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Food is a highlight at Caer Llan. With our in‑house catering team, all dietary requirements are taken care of, and there’s no need to book external suppliers. All dishes are freshly prepared on site, with menus ranging from three-course fine dining and traditional roasts to generous banquets and relaxed feasting tables suiting every style of wedding. Drinks receptions can be accompanied with handcrafted canapés, and evening food options span grazing tables, hog roasts, BBQs and vibrant street food. Breakfast the next morning is a favourite, with a hearty English breakfast, pastries, cereals and unlimited tea and coffee.

Our fully licensed bar serves draughts, wines, spirits and cocktails at pub prices, with fast, friendly service and no queues. Your package also includes thoughtful extras such as garden games, easels, a microphone and speaker, and a cake stand and knife — everything you need for a relaxed, stress‑free celebration.

From the moment we visited Caer Llan, we both looked at each other and thought, wow, this is the place we’re getting married. It just felt perfect from the very beginning. From start to finish, everything was fantastic. We welcomed our guests on the Friday, which really built the excitement, had the most magical wedding day on Saturday 28th March 2026 (with amazing weather!), and then rounded everything off with a lovely breakfast together on the Sunday. Having that extra time made such a difference, it wasn’t just a single day, but a full experience we could truly enjoy with everyone. The setting itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views across the Welsh valley that made everything feel even more special. It was also so lovely that many of our guests were able to stay at the venue, which meant we could spend so much more quality time together. Everyone who attended commented on what an incredible place it is, with many saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to. The food was fantastic from start to finish and they made sure that they catered for everyone! What truly made it unforgettable though, was the team. Vicky and Jake were amazing from start to finish, so welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our wedding perfect. When you search for a wedding venue, you want something truly special that invites you to share your love with your friends and family. Caer Llan does just that. It feels warm and inviting as soon as you turn into the drive in. Vicky and Jake made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved our day, and like all couples say, we would do it again in a heartbeat. We wouldn't change a single thing as it was simply perfect. We are still hoping to return for a family celebration, as my family felt the same magic too. When you search for a wedding venue, you want something truly special that invites you to share your love with your friends and family. Caer Llan does just that. It feels warm and inviting as soon as you turn into the drive in. Vicky and Jake made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our Happily Ever AfterOur Happily Ever After
On arriving at Caer Llan we knew immediately this was the venue for us! It had everything we wanted, a beautiful building with stunning grounds/views, plenty of accommodation for our nearest and dearest and to top it off, wonderful owners! Vicky and Jake have been beyond accommodating throughout our journey. On first arrival we were shown around the venue and discussed the various options and given time to go away and decide without feeling pressured (although it didn’t take us more than an hour to get back to them and secure our date)! Vicky and Jake have always been so helpful and prompt in responding to any queries we had and helped in our decision making along the way. It was so nice to go back to the venue for our planning meeting and fully discuss the big day. We also re visited on one further occasion to run through some decorative choices and Vicky and Jake were accommodating and on hand to help us with anything we were unsure of. We wanted an intimate wedding celebration with our closest friends and family and chose the two night option. It was without doubt the right choice and all of our guests felt at ease and the various bedrooms and communal spaces accommodated our guests of all ages to relax and feel at home throughout their stay. The younger guests were occupied in the family room and made full use of the amenities where close by, the adults could relax and enjoy their stay in the bar and main room. The night before the wedding was truly a celebration in itself, it brought everyone together and we could really relax, eat, drink and be merry with our loved ones ahead of the big day! We were hoping for an outdoor ceremony (Vicky had always reassured us that we could decide on the day for an indoor or outdoor ceremony) but the Great British weather had other ideas and this made our day even more magical. I will always remember me and my bridesmaids giggling on the balcony of the bridal suite with wet feet and champagne in hand! And as newly weds wandering hand in hand through the lush grounds under umbrellas. We wanted a romantic feel to our wedding and that is certainly what we got and will remember forever. The large canopy provided shelter for our confetti shots and family photos plus the little ones in attendance had a great time playing under the gazebo with the evening food also being served outside. The dedication of Jake, Vicky and their hard working team in turning the venue around throughout the day is extraordinary, and was widely noticed by our guests. The transformations from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast through to the evening party was phenomenal! Their attention to detail makes everything feel so special and each time it was like you were in a completely different room! The welcome buffet on arrival through to our last breakfast before departure was outstanding and all of our guests have commented on this! Jake and Vicky worked collaboratively with our suppliers and for some it was their first time at Caer Llan. Their support was really appreciated. Rhys would personally like to thank Jake for helping with the music & seating on the morning of the wedding. Jake stepped up, supported the groomsmen and brought a calmness to hopeless men! From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank Jake, Vicky and all of their team for making our day so special and personal to us. Your home really felt like ours for the entire duration of our stay and that was exactly how we wanted it to be, an occasion we, our families and friends will never forget. The best wedding venue! The best wedding venue!
From the moment we saw the photo of Caer Llan in a wedding magazine we knew it was the place for us. Arriving there is even more special and then of course being shown around by Jake and Vicky, who from the off showed their huge attention to detail and eagerness to make our day personalised and the most special occasion. Any question we asked was answered or met with suggestions to make the day run seamlessly (and it did!). The team are amazing, making personalised canapés which were absolutely delicious, as was all the food served by Caer Llan. Everyone truly cares about making your time so special, I said to the chef whilst having our evening food that I like crispy hash browns and bacon and in the morning he had them waiting for me!! The accommodation is clean, spacious and very comfortable. We had family attending from Poland who were made to feel most welcome with a sign written in Polish about timings for food etc, and Polish vodka bought in especially for our wedding party. We had the most amazing weekend getting married here with our family and closest friends, we didn’t want to leave at the end! Caer Llan is the most special venue which made for the most special wedding day! From the moment we arrived for our initial viewing, the views completely sold it to us and speaking with Vicky she was so organised and I could tell from that moment the day would run extremely smoothly (in which it did)! All communication was easy and nothing was too much to ask which made for a helpful planning process. From arriving on the Wednesday to leaving on the Friday morning, we had the most PERFECT time. Both Vicky, Jake and the entire team working at Caer Llan were so welcoming and helpful. Every single meal we had was delicious and every guest said the same. Vicky and Jake were hands on throughout the whole three days and the wedding day itself everything did run smoothly and without a hitch. The pool is a lovely addition which kept the males entertained in the morning! Caer Llan is the perfect backdrop for photos and there's many places to go off to have some. Everyone who attended our wedding was amazed by the views and location and were just full of compliments towards it. Our Perfect Day and the Perfect VenueOur Perfect Day and the Perfect Venue
From start to finish Caer Llan were excellent. From the second we got out of the car on our first visit and were blown away by the vista from the car park we had decided that inside the building would need to be pretty poor for us to discount it as our venue. Our decision was made within minutes of entering the door and meeting Vicky and Jake. Both were great on communication in the build up and despite however many weddings they hold through the year, you'd be forgiven for thinking yours was the only one. The venue is beautiful. We were fortunate to have outstanding weather which made our outdoor ceremony particularly special. The venue is flexible though and should storm clouds gather on the morning of the wedding, an indoor ceremony room is set up with the same views over the stunning Welsh countryside. The accommodation here is lovely. To utilise it to its full capacity you will need to use every bed in every room which means if you're working on 2 people per room, you'll need to be selective on who you invite to stay as you'll run out of rooms fast. For our small, intimate wedding this was perfect and all our family and closest friends were able to join us for a buffet the night before the wedding and stay right the way through to after breakfast the morning after. The staff are great, Chris on the bar provides a welcoming face and creates a vibe of the bar being that of a friendly local pub. The Chefs are excellent and as well as being two lovely guys, produce some magic in the kitchen. Food was outstanding throughout and this sentiment was echoed by all our guests. This is a family run venue and all the staff work to make you feel as if they have thrown open the doors of their family home to host your venue, just for you. This is far from a wedding factory so if you’re looking for a status wedding with 300 guests, Caer Llan isn’t for you. If you are however looking for a smaller, intimate country wedding with personal service focussed on you as a couple and your nearest and dearest; this is the place for you. The accommodation here is lovely. To utilise it to its full capacity you will need to use every bed in every room which means if you're working on 2 people per room, you'll need to be selective on who you invite to stay as you'll run out of rooms fast. For our small, intimate wedding this was perfect and all our family and closest friends were able to join us for a buffet the night before the wedding and stay right the way through to after breakfast the morning after. The staff are great, Chris on the bar provides a welcoming face and creates a vibe of the bar being that of a friendly local pub. The Chefs are excellent and as well as being two lovely guys, produce some magic in the kitchen. Food was outstanding throughout and this sentiment was echoed by all our guests. This is a family run venue and all the staff work to make you feel as if they have thrown open the doors of their family home to host your venue, just for you. This is far from a wedding factory so if you’re looking for a status wedding with 300 guests, Caer Llan isn’t for you. If you are however looking for a smaller, intimate country wedding with personal service focussed on you as a couple and your nearest and dearest; this is the place for you.

We recently celebrated our wedding at the stunning Caer Llan in Wales, and I can honestly say it was a day that surpassed every expectation. From the picturesque venue to the vibrant, joyful atmosphere, everything about our wedding was nothing short of magical – and much of that was thanks to the incredible hosts, Vicky and Jake. From the moment we arrived, Vicky and Jake set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day. They brought such warmth, enthusiasm, and energy to the entire experience. They made us feel completely at ease and cared for, allowing us to soak in every moment without a worry in the world. Their attention to detail was impeccable, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony to the evening celebrations. Vicky and Jake's involvement made all the difference. They didn't just coordinate our wedding; they became part of it. They knew how to keep things light-hearted while still being professional, making sure our guests were entertained, engaged, and having a blast.
