- SSue and Mike25/02/2024Our Perfect Wedding VenueOur Perfect Wedding VenueWe chose Broughton Craggs Hotel because of its reputation for fabulous food, idyllic location and the most helpful and friendly planning team you could ever hope for when planning a wedding. They didn’t disappoint - our wedding was truly magical, and they even arranged a lovely warm sunny day at the end of October….. :-) Ours was a relatively small wedding, with 36 guests, although the hotel can cater for many more. The two room arrangement they set up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, looked amazing. From the outset, you know you’re in safe hands, with experienced planners and caterers who know what they’re doing and can deliver a quality package. The extensive gardens, with rich autumnal colours at the time of our wedding, are a photographers playground; with unlimited options for formal and informal photography. As you can see from our picture, the colours were spectacular. The menu choices we were offered were varied and with budgets for all. We chose their best offering, and it was quite exceptional, with unanimously positive feedback from our guests, even the children! Dan, the hotel manager provided our disco, and did a great job as compare and DJ - although you can obviously hire your own choice of music. His equipment is integrated into the function room and provides a visual backdrop to enhance the lighting and ambiance. We had exclusive use of the hotel, as all the rooms were occupied by our guests, and the privacy added to the overall experience. If you’re looking to plan a wedding in a beautiful location, with attentive staff who really focus their attention on getting everything right for the bride and groom, then Broughton Craggs Hotel should really be right up there on your list. They deliver the fully package - beautiful backdrop for photography in extensive private gardens - perfect function rooms for the ceremony (optional), Wedding Breakfast and Reception - Fine food with deliciously compiled menus.
