Description

Based on our small family farm, the secluded, beautiful and slightly wild lakeside setting is unique and special. Offering a maximum of 8 outdoor weddings a year from May to September, or 10 indoor smaller weddings in the barn, the space offers a ‘blank canvas’ for you to make your wedding your own. Relaxed, boho festival vibes or more formal marquee receptions both fit beautifully into the space.

Choose from either

a Dry Hire booking for the lakeside field - or -
a Package for the lakeside field which includes tipis or stretch tents and furniture - or -
a Package for the barn which includes furniture and flowers

Just add your own details to create your perfect day. You will have exclusive access from 9am the day before your wedding to 2pm the day after, with no other weddings happening in the same week as yours.

We also have two outdoor ceremony options (‘Woodland’ or ‘Willow Aisle’) which offer a naturally special place for your vows, and can be used simply dressed by nature, or enhanced with your flowers and other embellishments.

There is space for camping or glamping, and dogs are welcome!

This is the price for hire of the fields, with electricity, water supply, parking, fire pit and logs. There is space for up to 3 linked tipis, with capacity for up to 120 seated. You have exclusive access from 9am the day before to 2pm the day after your wedding.

We offer packages which include (at the lower price range) the hire of the fields and woodland, with a small stretch tent seating just over 50 people, with furniture, lighting, matting, parking, power and water, up to (at the the higher end) three linked tipis (10m diameter each) seating up to 120 people, also with furniture, lighting and all the extras. You have exclusive access from 9am the day before to 2pm the day after your wedding. Bar services, catering etc would all be arranged through external suppliers, and are not included.

From the moment we viewed Barnfield and met Patsy, we knew we'd found the perfect place to get married. Having found this gorgeous venue on Instagram months before, we fell in love with the lake and the grounds on our first visit. It really is the most beautiful location and the reality definitely lives up to the stunning pictures online. Patsy and her family were the easiest people to plan a wedding with ever, and we loved sharing our plans with them - however big or small - and hearing their excitement too. There was no request too big or too small - Patsy always did everything she could to help us build our dream day. You can tell how much the whole family cares about their wedding parties. We can't recommend Barnfield enough - and our photos are a testament to the dreamiest days of our lives. Every detail we'd planned came to life, and we couldn't have wished for anything more. From settling our caterers in, shuttling guests (even driving me to the aisle!), building a fireside chillout area, helping dress the venue and recommending excellent suppliers - the team had a huge hand in making our day so special, and run like clockwork. Barnfield also has a number of cottages on site, where you can arrange to stay ahead of and after the big day. This really added to the experience for us, we loved being so close by. Patsy is the most thoughtful host, even staying in touch since our big day. A gorgeous nature filled location on a peaceful countryside farm. So many different layouts and avenues you can take with your wedding. I loved being able to personalise every aspect and use suppliers of our choosing. They offer amazing packages and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. Lovely family run business on beautiful land. Sustainability and eco friendliness was a big thing for us and it’s the same for them, all the animals are respected and damagew to the nature is avoided as much as possible. A gorgeous nature filled location on a peaceful countryside farm. So many different layouts and avenues you can take with your wedding. I loved being able to personalise every aspect and use suppliers of our choosing. They offer amazing packages and go above and beyond to make your day perfect. One of the most peaceful and beautiful placesOne of the most peaceful and beautiful places
For their first wedding as a business, we were amazed at how faultless and smooth running everything was. We owe so much to Patsy, Zoe, Roy and all the family. The venue was one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I’ve ever seen. We got married at year and we cannot recommend this venu,e enough. It was the most beautiful magical place to get married and celebrate with our loved one’s.
