Our building has original features such as wood panelling, a grand staircase and iconic stained glass windows giving all our couples memories and photos to remember their day.

Absolute Gem

"The Braintree town hall Chairmans suite is an absolute gem in an incredibly beautiful classic style grade listed building. We were looking for a small wedding but with a touch of class, and this is exactly what we got from the property, with an elegant fireplace, beautiful panelled walls and a real sense of tradition in a modern registry styled wedding. The team at the town hall are incredible, they have worked hard to make our day flawless, and honestly we could not have done it without them.

Chairman's Ceremony

Lee and I had our wedding on 28th June 2024, and we were in the Chairman's room. The day itself ran smoothly, and the staff made it feel super special and personalised! Our guests and I were impressed at just how beautiful the room and buildings are. All the artwork and the amazing spiral staircase looked simply gorgeous in our wedding day photographs too. I would recommend Braintree Town hall to anyone looking to get married! Thank you to all the team who made it possible.

Intimate and Cosy

Braintree Town Hall was the ideal wedding venue for us in every way. We had our wish of a small, intimate gathering yet we were treated to such beautiful surroundings including the grand architecture and the stunning staircase which provided the perfect setting for photograph opportunities. The Officials put us at ease and ensured we were happy and comfortable prior to and throughout the ceremony. We were made to feel so special. It was everything we’d hoped for and more.
