Blakes is available for civil ceremonies, wedding receptions, celebrations and more! Located in Essex, Blakes is easily accessible from the M11 and M25.
Our events team offer a wealth of experience and are on hand to plan your wedding every step of the way! Through detailed discussions, we can tailor every aspect of your day in order to create a bespoke wedding package to ensure every detail is just as you imagined.

A beautiful venue and the most amazing staff who helped make this a day to remember and treasure forever. Special thanks to the wonderful Events Manager Angela and the lovely Kristy who made sure our wedding ran smoothly on the night. Just cannot fault this venue or the staff, it was so perfect. We held our twilight wedding in The View Bar at Blakes on 8th October. It was truly magical and more than we ever could have wished for. A beautiful venue and the most amazing staff who helped make this a day to remember and treasure forever. The food, the decor and the staff were perfect. Everything went so smoothly and without a hitch... It was great that we could contact Angela or Paige whenever we had a query or anxious moment and when we asked for something a little bit out of the ordinary, they went above and beyond to oblige and make our wedding day extra special. Everything went perfect on the night. Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
As a golf course set in the heart of the Essex Countryside, it's difficult to say just one! If we had to pick our favourite, it has to be the Island hole, on the 8th green.

We love creating unique catering options, our latest and most popular favourite being a midnight treat of bagels. Here we create a bagel station, so it's interactive and ideal for all!

The beautiful pink sun set we get throughout the summer makes a perfect backdrop for pictures.
