They've all been so great I'm struggling to decide! I think the best ones have been where the couples and their family are relaxed and truly enjoying their day. I'm here to make sure your big days is beautifully planned and executed.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always plan for 10 minutes alone with your newly betrothed. Your day will fly by in a flurry of hugs and champagne and you must take time out to let it sink in... and do your table plan early!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
There were signs dotted around the wedding with pronunciations of Welsh words as the bride came from Wales. It gave everyone a great talking point and quite a few giggles seeing people how to pronounce lechyd Da!

Where’s the best photo spot at Birdsall House?
I do love the view from across the lake looking up towards the house. It makes for a really lovely photo of the bride and groom as they walk through the gardens with their reflections mirrored in the water.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at Birdsall House?
My lips are sealed!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Anything by one of our lovely caterers - haven't tried a bad one yet! Although I do remember being very taken by a tattle scone with haggis and caramelised red onion on top - that was jolly good!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Tomato, mozzarella and pesto Piadinas!
What is Birdsall House most unique feature?
Our 11th century ruins right in front of the house. Perfect for holding a wedding ceremony or for fabulous photographs.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
I really think above all it is our team. It is such an honour to be able to host someone's wedding, so we really try our very best to make it the most special day of people's lives, and it is all made possible by everyone here who always go above and beyond.
